Christmas card Sunday #15 (on a Monday!)

Hello!!  I am running a little behind schedule this week!  Our routine has been all wonky and I have managed to get exactly 0 things on my To Do list To done! I have no complaints about that though!  I will share the whys of it all at the end of this post.  I do have lots and lots to share with you about all the going's on with Stampin' Up!, but right now I wanted to share my Christmas card Sunday card with you.  Take a look:

I went a bit old school and used a sentiment stamp from my retired pile.  My card base is Pear Pizzazz and my layers are Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White.  I used the Pansy Punch and Leaf punch for my flower and I ran my Whisper White piece through the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.  I left the edge hanging out to create a little bit of a different texture.

I punched out my sentiment using the Every Day Label punch.  I created the frame around it by punching out another in Pear Pizzazz and cutting it in half.  I adhered the halves to the back of the sentiment piece.  I added a strip of Pear Pizzazz to the side of the card and added a few gold glimmer accent dots.

Here are the goodies (minus the stamp set!) I used to create my card today:

The wonderfully busy and amazing reason that I am running behind schedule this week is this little guy:

He is our grand kiddo and melts me into a puddle!!  We have played cars and read books and played outside and watched videos and drawn pictures and played chase and read more books and played more cars and....

My schedule will resume soon enough, but until then I am happy spending my time with this guy!

I will be back soonest to discuss some of these fun new changes happening at Stampin' Up!  See you soon!
