Hi! Thanks for stopping by! Always so nice to see you!! I am still on my Sale-A-Bration kick!! I am going to be so sad to see it go!! Just three more days!! I pulled out the Designer Series Paper pack called Bubbles and Fizz for my project today. Want to talk about a bright, happy, perky, peppy pack of paper!! This stuff just shouts good feelings at you! LOL I wanted to use a wide sampling off it, so decided to make a mini album to tuck some photos into! Take a look:
My little mini album measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/4". I chose this size so I could tuck 3" x 4" photos into it! I used Whisper White as my book base. I cut 8 pieces of Whisper White @ 4 1/4" x 6 1/2" and scored each one @ 3 1/4". I folded them all and creased the fold really well using a bone folder. Then I glued them together back to front until I had a book.
I cut the Bubbles and Fizz papers into 3" x 4" rectangles and added one to each page. The colors really are bright and happy! For my cover I stamped the sentiment and image from Epic Celebrations in Bermuda Bay and added some shadowing with a Smoky Slate Blends marker. I added a tiny banner to add a little more fun color and then added some silver glimmer accent dots punched using a standard hole punch.
Lots of pages to add pictures and journaling! Lots of bright, happy colors!
To neaten up the spine edge I wrapped a piece of Bermuda Bay measuring 1 3/8" x 4 1/4". I scored it @ 3/4" from either side creating the channel that the spine fit into. I used Tear and Stick tape to adhere it into place.
