You're just lovely!

Hello! I spent the morning trying to get registered for a great big, exciting Stampin' Up! event coming up in November.  It is the 30th year anniversary celebration and I cannot wait!!!  One of the fun things about Stampin' Up! is that you meet so many fun, wonderful people.  I am part of an amazing stamping group and when these functions come up we all try to work out attending together!  This one is taking a little bit of extra coordinating though because we are spread out all over the place!  Anyhow, after much back and forth texting, a few glitches in the event registering site and some phone calling, I think we have all managed to work out getting registered! Woooo!  Sooo excited!

I finally managed to barricade myself in my craft room this afternoon long enough to make a card and thought I would share it with you!  Take a look:

My card base is Mossy Meadow and my layers are Whisper White and Soft Suede.  All of the stamping is done from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set.  That sweet bird is cut from the Birds and Blooms Thinlits set.  I stamped the flowers and then fussy cut them before adding them to the card.  I bent up the edges trying to create more of a 3D look and adhered them down in the center only.

I stamped the sentiment onto a 1" Circle punch, then layered it onto a 1 3/8" Scalloped Circle punch and then the Tailored Tag punch.  I used a White gel pen to add teeny little dots into each scallop.  Finally, I added some Silver Glimmer accent dots that I punched using a standard hole punch.

Here are all of the goodies that  I used to create  my card today:

Wanted to let you know that there is a special going on right now.  For every $50.00 you spend in August you earn a $5.00 voucher good for September!!  You can read more about it here:

Have a super day!  I will be back soonest with lots more to share!
