This little door card is all decorated for Fall! I used the new hostess set from the new Holiday Mini (!!!!!) {{which by the way I am NUTSO about!!}} called Warmest of Wishes to make my little holiday wreath. Then I pop-dotted the heck outta this card! LOL I made some little door panels and sponged around each of them and the exterior of the 'door'. I made some steps out of scraps of Soft Suede and added a flower pot full of Fall flowers. The kitty cat is 3 layers. The doorlock is made from the Jewelry punch. I sponged the edges of it and added a jewel brad for the door knob.
Here is a close up of the layered wreath. I colored the individual leaves with markers and sponged around the edges.
I used the Round Tab punch for the flower pot. I punched one out and cut it in half and then trimmed the end to make it flat. The flowers and leaves are punched from the Itty Bitty 3 Punch Pack. I sponged the edges of the flower pot to give it some dimension.
This cute little kitty is from the Every Little Bit stamp set. I stamped her on the card and then two additional times and cut out the images and layered them on pop dots.
This is the sentiment on the inside! I used markers to color it. I was going for that color fade sort of look!
Recipe:
Stamps: Warmest of Wishes and Every Little Bit
Paper: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede and So Saffron
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive
Extra: Pumpkin Pie Ribbon and pop dots
On to card #2:
I had so much fun with this one!! This hostess set (Warmest of Wishes) comes with that adorable wreath stamp on my first card and when I was removing it from the package there was a perfect circular piece of rubber that pops out of the center of the wreath!!! It is meant to be discarded with the rest of the rubber, but there was no way I was getting rid of this beauty!! I used it to make the background polka dots on this card! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE polka dots!!! This little piece of rubber is going to get lots of use!! There was also enough left over rubber to cut out a square! Look fo'r that on some of my upcoming projects! LOL
I really like this color combo together and those giant polka dots just make me want to grin! :)
I did the same color fade technique here, but reversed the colors.
