Every day!

Hello there!  Happy Saturday!  I woke up feeling pretty grateful for a lot of things this morning and thought I would let that spill out into a Fall card creation.  Upon reflection, I am wondering if part of the reason so many people love Fall so much is that it evokes all those warm and fuzzy grateful feelings?  In truth, we should all stop and think on the daily about all of the things we feel that way about.  I know life is stressful (goodness, do I know!), but I try to remind myself often that despite that I have a long of list of things that fill and overfill my heart.  Ok, enough of the syrup-y blah blah!  LOL  On to the card!

My card base is Crushed Curry and my layers are Soft Suede and Whisper White.  All of the stamped images are from a very sweet stamp set called Many Blessings.   I used lots of different mediums to color in the images.  I used Stamp Write markers and watercolor pencils and even the Smoky Slate Blend to add some shadows.  I ran the Soft Suede pieces through the Basket Weave Embossing Folder and added some punched out leaves under the main image in Granny Apple Green and Copper.

I created my own DSP by adding lots of little stamps to the Whisper White.  I wanted to mimic the colors from the flowers in the background.

Here is a close up of those sweet Fall flowers.

I have been on a bit of a bookmark kick lately, so I thought I would make one of those too using this combo.

Here are all of the goodies I used to make my projects today:

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!!  I will be back soonest with lots more to share
