Paper Pumpkin fun!

Hello, hello!!  So sorry to go missing, but things have been busy, busy in my world lately!  We have had baby showers and birthday parties and family gatherings and house projects and some travel to top it all off.  I decided to step back and take a mini break from stamping to get all of my life stuff squooze in, but I am back and so excited to be going strong once again!!

I spent some time in my stamp room this morning playing with my August Paper Pumpkin kit!  I usually dissect them and try to create some different projects with them than originally intended, but this month I pretty much stuck to the kit as it was meant to be!  I did add a few blingy extras and did some very minor tweaking, but mostly not!  This month's kit is simply beautiful as is!!  Take a look:

The kit made all 10 of these cards!!  They came pre-printed, so basically I just did a little bit of stamping and assembling and I was done!

Here is the first card.  I used the vellum leaves from the kit, but added the flower (which was a perfect match!) using the Four Petal Flower punch.  I punched two and stamped them using the images in the kit. I used my bone folder to turn up the edges and used a dimensional between the layers to give them a look of floof (technical term!).   Easy peasy!

This is the second card.  I used the vellum leaves again here.  I used fewer than the instructions called for since the crad base is quite busy.  That left me with tons of left over leaves for other projects! Woooo!  I stamped the sentiment and added it using dimensionals (from the kit!).  I added a few silver glimmer accent dots to pull in the silver from the tag.  These simple cards are very elegant looking in person!

Thought I would show you an example of another card you can make using bits and pieces from the kit!  My card base is Pineapple Punch (this is a seriously bold pop of yellow!!) and my top layer is Whisper White.  I stamped the background flowers in Pineapple punch with Blackberry Bliss centers (all stamps from the kit!).  I added the tag and sentiment (kit, kit, kit!) and then topped the whole thing off with a flower!  This is a very bright, happy card!

That flower is full of floof thanks to the dimensional in between the layers.  Finally, I added a few silver glimmer accent dots.

Here they all are together!  I still have tons of leaves, dimensionals and bakers twine left over for other projects!  I looooove My Paper Pumpkin kits!!

Here is a list of all of the goodies  I used to create my projects today:
