Snowflake Showcase...hurry, hurry, hurry!

Hi there!  Guess what........it snowed on us today!!  Hubby and I had errands to run and we drove about 45 minutes northwest of where we live and it was flurry-ing like mad on us! It was so pretty!  It inspired me to pull out my lovely new snowflake stamp set and coordinating Thinlits set and make a couple of things.  Want to see?!

I absolutely love this stamp set and Thinlits combo!!  There are 20 pieces in the Snowfall Thinlits set! So many beautiful snowflakes to choose from!  I cut out my snowflakes using Silver Glimmer paper and they just sparkle and shine!

My card base is Tranquil Tide and my layers are Pool Party and Whisper White.  The name of the stamp set is Glistening in the Snow.  I stamped snowflakes and the dots which resemble falling snow in Pool Party and then again in Smoky Slate.

I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using the Layering Ovals Framelits.

I also made a matching tag!  This beautiful tree is from the same stamp set.  I stamped it and fussy cut it out.  I stamped the background with the falling snow stamps and added the tree (which is made from a pile of snowflakes!).  I added a few silver glimmer snowflakes on top and stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy.  I added a strip of snow across the bottom by tearing a strip of Whisper White.

Here they are together.  They will be the perfect dress me up for a gift!

This stamp set and Thinlit set are from the Snowflake Showcase and are only available for a limited time!!  On November 30th they will no longer be available!!  If you would like more information you can check that out here:

Here are the rest of the goodies that I used to make my card and tag combo today:

These short winter days are making it tough to get everything squooze in lately!  I am off to try to get a few more things done before I settle in for the evening!  Hope you have a wonderful day!
