Thanks for that thing you did!

Hello there!  Happy Monday!  Well, I think it is over...Thanksgiving I mean!  I have a pot of turkey vegetable soup on the stove and probably enough leftover goodness from our second Thanksgiving for another full meal or two, but the holiday hoopla has come to an end.  I really enjoyed our Thanksgivings!  We were fortunate enough to have 2 this year.  Since it is still November though and I am not quite (But soooo close!!) ready to start the Christmas chaos, I thought I would make another Fall themed card.  Here is the little guy:

My card base is Crushed Curry and my layers are Soft Suede and Whisper White.  I used the amazing Buffalo Check stamp to create the background.  It makes such a fun, crisp pattern!  I made a daisy by stamping and punching out 3 daisies and layering them.

I added some leafy bits and some sprig-y bits under the flower using punches.  I added a strip of Copper Foil to add a nice little shimmer to the card.  It is one of those subtle details that makes a nice visual difference.

The sentiment is from the Thanks for all the Things stamp set and I cut it out along with a scalloped square mat using the Layering Square Framelits.

Here are all the goodies I used to create my card today:

I was able to snap a few pictures between all the chaos at our second Thanksgiving and thought I would share:

Yum!

...more!

Dessert!

Our beautiful daughters!

Our handsome son!

Our son holding our grandson holding our other grandson!

It was a great day!  The only thing that would have made the day better was if all of our family could have been there. They were definitely missed!

Ok, off to kick the boot-tay of my To Do list!  Have a wonderful day and I will be back soonest with lots more to share!
