Thank you very much!

Hello there!  Are you nutty, busy today running around making last minute holiday preparations?  Are you cooking and baking or pre-setting tables or making little Thanksgiving crafts?  Are you doing your last minute house crisis cleaning? LOL Fun, fun stuff!  Have I mentioned that I love Thanksgiving?!  It is always so nice to get together with peeps that you care about and enjoy yummy food and visiting!  The only thing that could make this holiday even better is if I could have all of my people near me.   I will surely miss and be thinking fondly of everyone that isn't able to make it to our get-togethers.  Ok, on to the crafty eye candy that you actually stopped by to check out:

I made a Thank you card!  (Big surprise, right?!)  Seemed fitting for today's post! My card base is Crumb Cake and my layers are Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie and a few Copper Foil accent pieces.

I ran my Vanilla piece through the Tin Tile embossing folder, but only half of it!  I think this gives a card a fun visual look. All of my, stamps including the sentiment, are from the 2 step stamp set Build a Blossom.  I cut out the sentiment using the Every Day Label punch and cut it down on the top and bottom before adding it t another Every Day Label punch out.

To build my flower I stamped all of the petals (5 of the large and 5 of the small) in Crushed Curry.  Then I stamped on top of them using Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler.  Using a bone folder I gently bent up the edges.  I adhered the large petals to a 1" Circle punch out and the small ones to a 3/4" circle punch out.  I separated the two layers using a Stampin' Dimensional. The flower center is a punched out 3/4" circle.

Here are all of the goodies I used to make my card today:

Ok, I am off to get those holiday preparations that I mentioned earlier going!  Have a wonderful day!
