And let the Christmas madness begin!

Hello there!!  Well, it is Dec 1st already!  Time to start thinking about the Christmas season!  I have so many fun projects planned for this month that I just cannot wait to share with you! It is cold and dreary out here today, so I thought it was a perfect day to start on my Christmas cards!  I have been making a card or two every week all year long, so I have a nice pile of them ready for the sending! Thought I would share one of the cards I made here with you today!

My card base is Shaded Spruce and my layers are Whisper White and Soft Suede.  I cut the tree from the In the Woods Framelits. It is two layers!  I cut the solid image first and then the top layer.  The top layer is really neat because the tree branches fluff out giving it a nice 3d look!  I added some extra snow to the layers with my white gel pen.

Those sweet deer are from the Detailed Deer Thinlits set and I added a strip of snow to the bottom of the card by simply tearing a strip of Whisper White and layering it over the bottom of the card. The snowflakes are from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits set and I topped them each off with a Rhinestone for a little bit of added sparkle!

Here is a clickable list of all of the goodies that I used to make my card!  If you need any of these things click the pic and it will take you right to it in my online store!  Shopping in your jammies for the win!

Ok, time to start those Christmas cards!  Music is playing, banana bread just came out of the oven and I have a big, warm cup of tea! I believe that I am ready!!

I hope that you have a wonderful day!
