Abstract Impressions Day #4...crushing hard!!

Well hey there! Today is day #4 with the lovely Abstract Impressions stamp set!  Are you in love too yet?  I am definitely crushing hard on this set!!   I am as excited about it today as I was the very first day I saw it!!  It is so versatile and just so much fun!!  Enough goo-goo babble...want to see today's projects?

Today's projects are both 3D boxes!  The larger of the two is my very favorite project to make!  It uses one single sheet of card stock and will hold all kinds of things! One fun option is to fill it with cards and envelopes and give the whole thing away as a gift!  You could also turn it into a get well gift by filling it with tissues, a soup packet, a chap stick, cough drops, a happy get well card etc.  Or my very favorite idea is to load that guy up with chocolate and a card!  So much yum and love in one place that the recipient will barely be able to stand it!   The smaller box is just the right size for a quick gift!  It will hold 3" x 3" cards w/ envelopes or as you can see here...a healthy amount of chocolate goodness!

Here is a better picture of this little guy!  I used the Wood crate Framelits to make the box.  I embossed it with the Pinewood Plank Dynamic Embossing Folder before assembling it.  I hand cut and roughed up the edges of a banner from a scrap of Whisper White and stamped the sentiment from Abstract Impressions.  I made the little bow using the Polka Dotted Tulle ribbon and topped it off with a faceted button.  The roses are cut out of the large die cut in the Springtime Impressions Thinlits.

I cut 2 butterflies and added them to the crate top using Glue dots.  It adds a nice little something extra to the basket!

Here is a picture of all that is going on on the front!

On to the large box:

It is a great size!  Again, it uses just one sheet of cardstock with no waste!  You can dress the front up any way you'd like too!  That makes it perfect for any occasion!

Adhering the butterfly down in the center only gives it the illusion of flight!
