Day #2 Abstract Impressions Basket full of love!

Hello there!!  Today is day #2 of Abstract Impressions week!   I have a basket full of love (well, several actually!) to share with you today and also a happy little card.  I recently attended a get together in sunny Florida with lots of sunshine-y fun demos!  One of my absolute favorite things about Stampin' Up! is the opportunity it has provided me to meet so many new and wonderful people! This meeting was no exception!  I wanted to make a little giftie for each of my new friends, so this is what I did:

Now I am sure these fun little baskets have a name, but I do not know what it is!  I have always just called them pinch baskets and have been making them for years.  They are made using one square of card stock and can be made in any size you chose to cut your square to!  If you are interested in a tutorial I will be posting one later this week.

My basket is made from Pear Pizzazz and the DSP on the outside is Garden Impressions.  The prints in this pack are absolutely beautiful!!  (I have the plan of buying that stuff in bulk!)

The butterfly die cuts are cut from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits.  I pulled colors from the paper and layered two butterflies together.  Then I added a Polka Dotted Tulle Ribbon bow to top the whole thing off!  Each little basket was filled with chocolate goodness!

These are really fun little baskets!

I made 25 for the get together!

Here is the card that I made.  It also uses the Abstract Impressions stamp set and coordinating Garden Impressions paper.

I switched gears a little bit with the colors!  The card base is Pool Party and the ink I used is Bermuda Bay.

There are lots of pretty patterns to choose from in this paper pack, but I believe this one might just be my favorite!

Here are all of the goodies that I used to create the baskets and the card:
