Hello! :) How are you?! *Blows dust off!* It has been way too long since I have stopped by here! I have been feeling so guilty about my poor lonely blog! I love it here so much and it always makes me feel so happy to post, but I have just been so busy lately! Thought I would stop by and see if I remembered how to work things around here!
I have worked on lots of fun projects lately! Unfortunately, most of them are Secret Sister Swaps and I cannot actually share them yet! I have been working on a lot of 6 X 6 scrapbook pages and absolutely LOVE that size! They are so much fun to work with! I have been playing with my new Cricut quite a lot lately too! I am in love with that thing! It is so much fun! You can do so much with it!
Thought I would share a scrapbook page that I put together for a wonderful lady! She was recently inducted into the Red Hat Society and a couple friends and I made her scrapbook pages to document her induction! I went with a red/black and white color combo because it just screams class to me! I used the Stampin Up! set One of a Kind and left plenty or room for a photo and some journaling! This page was a lot of fun to make! :)
I will be back soonest to share some othwr things that I have been working on! Have a wonderful day!

Super Hero!
This cute little guy is Super "O"!! He is the letter "O" in a LOTW swap for the word Superhero! I had so much fun making this one! He took forever though! Isn't that always the way! I am so bad about thinking I can just whip out a project and then it taking forever! Everyone that I assembled though made me grin bigger and bigger! I used a little person punch for the little guy and then dressed each one, drew on a little happy face and added the cape (because we all know that is where a super hero's power really comes from!). This was a really fun swap! :)

CCC #9 Alter Me!
Hello and good morning! How are you today?! Doing wonderful, I hope! I have been busy, busy, busy!!
I wanted to stop by and share my project for our latest Crafty Critter Challenge. The challenge was thrown out there by Colleen (Hiya Colleen!!)! She proposed a good one! The particulars were:
Challenge rules:
--create/alter any item (maybe a favorite thing to make?) - card, box, picture frame, etc.
--use YOUR favorites - colors, embellishments, stamps - you get the idea
--must be posted to your blog no earlier than August 1st and no later than August 5th with the label CCC9
So, after much debate and narrowing down of favorite projects I went with this:
This is what my project was before I did my alter and this is what it grew up to be:
I made a dry erase board using flowers as the theme! I mixed several different types and colors of those little guys! I stamped my image on SU! Whisper White and then sponged the edges with SU! Marigold Morning and More Mustard. I faux stitched the edges of my white and green (SU Certainly Celery) and mounted those on DSP. I added some flowers with bright, happy brads and a sparkly gem in the center of the stamped flower! I attached the pen with a ribbon and fun flower! There you have it...all atered! These work great as dry erase boards and are fun because you can change the insert at any time!
Thanks for a great challenge, Colleen! I had a blast with this one! :)
I have been in high production mode lately and have lots more to share! I will be back soonest!
Until then...have a super day!
