Happy New Year's Eve to you!

Hey there friends! :)  Can you believe it is the last day of the year?!  The last day of 2013 that there will ever be!!  I am very excited to be making this post today, because in doing so I have completed a personal goal!!  I challenged myself this time last year to post on my blog every single day of the year and this post makes that official!!  Wooohooooo!  I actually posted twice one day so that is a grand total of 366 posts!!  Go me!!  *doing a little dance!!*  Go me!!  Go me!! LOL  I just love it when a plan comes together!! :)

I do have a little crafty something to share with you today!  I made another one of those fun curly-cue paper wreaths!  I have a friend that decorated her den in all snowflakes for the holiday season so I thought this would make a happy addition to her room:

I used the Winterfrost paper to make it!  The recipe calls for the 12 x 12 sized paper, but guess what?!!!  You can use the small paper pad too!  All of my curly-cues are made from the small pad!!

Side view!  I am sorry about the stinky lighting!  I took the pic a little late in the day so my colors look off.

Here is a close up of one of the snowflakes I made.  I used the Festive Flurries Framelits and coordinating stamp set and layered several on top of one another to make these little guys!

And another!

These wreaths are so much fun to make!!  I love them and they just look so festive!!  I think one for every season is on order!

Do you have big plans to ring in the new year?!  We are heading out to meet friends shortly, but I wanted to be sure to wish you a safe and wonderful New Year's Eve!!

I will be back next year with more to share!  Much love!

Hello there! :)

Well hello there! I have a cute little, but friendly card to share with you today!  I stepped into my stamp room literally long enough to make a quick card for today and then popped right back out again.  I have spent aaaaaaaaallllll day long working on mudding sheet rock in our addition!  I think it must be the most hateful job ever!!  Absolutely, positively no fun at all and it takes forever!!!  I am still only on the first room!! *thud...falls over!!*  I am not loving this part of construction!! LOL  Alas, I digress because after all the yuckiness of dry wall mud comes walls and for that I will be super excited! :)  Here is my little card:

See!  Little, but friendly!!

I needed a little paper hug to stick into a package that I am mailing and this one fit the bill perfectly!  I used  the Timeless Talk stamp set and the card stock colors are Baked Brown Sugar, Pacific Point and Whisper White.  The flowers are made from the 7/8" scallop circle punch and the Itty Bitty Punch Pack (scallop).  I added a little bit of bling to each center to jazz things up a bit!

Ok, well it is back to mudding for me!!  Have a great night!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Thank you!

Hello there! :) Have you written all of your thank you notes to everyone for all of your Christmas goodies yet?  I wanted to get a jump start on making some thank you notes and wound up making a whopping one! LOL  I tried to divide my time between lots of different activities today and that only left me with enough time to make the one card, but I guess that is better than none though, right?! :)

This is it!  My one lone little card! LOL  The stamps are all from the Kindness Matters stamp set.  I used Very Vanilla and Pink Pirouette card stock! My ink is Primrose Petals and Chocolate Chip.   The ribbon is Pink Pirouette.

I stamped the Thank You sentiment three times and then punched it out using the 1 3/8" Circle punch and mounted that on a Scalloped Circle punch.  I roughed up the edges of the Pink Pirouette strip and added the fancy little bow!  There you have it!

Something else I spent a good part of my day doing was getting all of the Christmas hubba-ba-looooo taken down and put away!  It seems to go up so much quicker than it comes down!  Took forever to get everything organized and put away!  Here is the job all done!  Yay!!

Ok, I am off to eat some dinner!  Enjoy the rest of the weekend!  I will be back soonest!

Babies are just so wonderful!

Hi there! Happy Saturday to you!  Are you enjoying your weekend? I have had a busy day today, but wanted to be sure to stop by and visit with you for a bit! We had a baby shower to go to this afternoon so I took some time today to make a baby shower card for the sweet couple!  Here is what I made:

Such a fun and exciting time!!  The sweet couple was just bubbling over with excitement!  It was really fun watching them open all their gifts! It was a very nice day! :)

I have been on the go since before Christmas and when I sat down a little bit ago to make this blog post I realized just how tired I am! LOL  I think I could use a nap!  Guess I better end here and get to going again before I actually do fall asleep!  Have a wonderful weekend!  I will be back soonest!

Christmas good stuff!

Hello! Are you recovered from all the Christmas hub-bub!?  Today is the day that we hang out in our jammies and do a lot of nothing!  Do you have a day like that too?  Christmas is wonderful, but kind of exhausting! LOL  We had such a nice Christmas!  We had good food and played games and spent time with family.  All of my kids were able to make it home so it was really nice!  Today my oldest daughter built a gingerbread house (and did a fine job!). Since I didn't make it into my craft room I thought I would share her project with you!

Isn't this adorable?!!  Too cute to eat...which is a good thing because she couldn't get the icing to hold it together so she used my craft glue! LOL

Thought I would include a picture of the tree before the real chaos set in!

I hope that you had a wonderful holiday too!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Couple of gifts!

Well hello there!  Are you rushing around trying to get all of your last minute Christmas things done?!  I sure am!  Wrapping and gift making and more wrapping are on my agenda today! I haven't even started any baking yet!

I made a couple of washer necklaces for  gifts today and thought I would share them with you!  So sorry about the stinky lighting.  It has been raining buckets all day and so it has been impossible to get a decent shot of these.

These are made from simple washers!  I think they are so pretty!  I covered the washers with paper and then Crystal Effects.  Once they are good and dry you can add your necklace/chain/ribbon to them and you have an adorable necklace!

Here is a close up shot of the charm.

Here is a second one that I made minus the chain part.  The possibilities are endless.  You can get any look you would like by using different paper.  You could even make them to match every one of your outfits! Fun stuff!

Ok, well I still have more wrapping and gift making to finish up tonight!  Have a super day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Another gift box...fa la la la la la la la laaaaaaa!

Hello there!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend! The weather here today is just beautiful!  Up to 65 and a slight chance of rain so there has been a happy little breeze all day! I really like days like this! :)  I have been running around trying to get things crossed off of my To Do list, but wanted to be sure to stop by and visit with you for a little bit!  I did manage to squeeze in a little bit of time for crafting this morning.  I made another little gift box you know since Tis' the Season!

I love the Snow Flurry stamp set and matching Framelits! They coordinate beautifully!  My card box and all of my ink are Pool Party. I used Very Vanilla for the matted piece. I stamped the sentiment and the snowflakes on the box with The Best of Snow set and then punched  out the sentiment with the Bracket Label punch.  The bow is tied from Very Vanilla Seam binding.

*Little confession...the box was supposed to be full of these wonderful Ferrero Rochers, but well.......they were delicious! :)

Have a wonderful day!   I will see you soonest!

Busy, busy day!

Phew!  It has been a whirl wind of a day here!!  I have been on the go since my eyes popped open this morning!  Lots going on right now! I glanced at the clock a few minutes ago and couldn't believe that the day had gotten away from me.  I do not have a craft project to share today, but do have another  couple of photos worth peeking at! Want to see some new picture of the Grand pumpkin?

She is all dressed up in her Christmas suit!  She is just such a sweetie and has brought so much sunshine and joy into the house!  We are really enjoying her! :)

Ok, well I still have stuff to tackle before I call it a day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Box, box...I need a box!

Hello there!  Only five days until Christmas!  I know because when I walked into Wal Mart today their giant sign screamed it at me!  After I got up out of the floor and dusted myself off I was a little rattled the whole shopping trip!  LOL  5 days....OMGoodness!!! Time to kick things up into high gear!!  In doing some holiday prepping today I found that I needed a little box to hold a gift so I threw this one together:

It is my favorite go to box made from an 8.5 x 11 piece of card stock! I used soft Suede and added this cute little layered snowflake to the front to pretty it up!

I stuck in the gift and filled the rest with tissue paper and it is all ready for the giving!!

Here is a close up picture of the snowflake!  I just love that silver paper!

Ok, I really do have about a million things left to do tonight so I better run!  Enjoy the rest of the day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

And another tag...!

Hey there!  I  have been running around all over the place today!  I did manage to be pretty productive though!  Yay me!  I packaged up several goodies to be mailed, went to the post office, made some tags, worked on the sheet rock in our addition and did some laundry!  I am really starting to feel that Christmas crunch!  The clock is ticking and I am really starting to wonder if I am going to get it all done this year.  I have already sat down and had a lengthy pep talk with myself though!  Whatever doesn't get done,  just doesn't get done!  No point in stressing over it! :) With so many things going on right now I have found that I am just kind of squeezing in Christmas things when and where I can.  I set myself a 15 minute timer today to sit and make tags.  I told myself whatever I could manage to get done in that time would be it for the day!  Here is one of the tags I made:

It is giant! The whole thing is made from scraps!  I love those kinds of projects!  I simply cut strips and adhered them into a Christmas tree shape.  Doesn't get much easier than that! I already know exactly which gift will get to wear this tag this year too!

Do you hand make your tags or buy them?  I think it is such fun to make them!  They go really quickly, it is a perfect excuse to use up scraps and they just make your presents look so loved and festive!!  I think I will spend some more time tomorrow making a bunch more.  Want to come over and make tags with me?  I will make hot chocolate and we can listen to Christmas carols! :)

Ok, better get back to that sheet rock!  Have a super Wednesday!  I will be back soonest!

Hey there! Quick post tonight!  I wanted to share the cards I worked on today with you!  I just love this sweet snowman!  He is so much fun to stamp because  you have to stamp all of his pieces separately! This time I made him looking up at the falling snow!

He is just snow much fun!  Little snow humor there! ;)

I stamped him in Marina Mist and then added each of his little snowman pieces.  You cannot really tell from the picture, but every snowflake is covered with Dazzling Diamonds!  The whole card sparkles and shimmers!

I am off to bed!  Been a busy day around here!  I hope that you had a good day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
