Good day

Hello stampers!  Stopping by to spend some time with you and share my card for today.  I stepped way out of my comfort zone for this one!  I used colors I wouldn't normally choose and paired colors together that I wouldn't normally.  I also did something I rarely, rarely do...I left a ton of unoccupied white space!  *Gasp!*  That normally makes my eye twitch a little (ok, a lot!).  I must be growing as a person or I for real was thinking outside of the box today! LOL

Here is the card I made:

See!  Look at those colors!!  I am a wild woman!   Although, I love all of them separately I would't normally pair them together (even though they look pretty dang snazzy together!)  I must admit it worked out well!

Lots going on here!  I stamped, I punched, I layered! I used card stock, DSP and Glimmer paper!  Did I mention wild woman?! LOL

I made the flowers using the Pansy Punch and layered them with Dimensionals.  The leaves are from Eclectic Layers and the butterfly is from the Sunshine Wishes dies.  I used Stiched Frametlits for my Whisper White piece. (I just love the stitched edge!) and Layering Ovals for the background scalloped oval.

Here are the goodies that I used to make this card:

Feel free to click on any of them to bee line straight to my on line store.  If you have any questions, please send me an email or leave me a comment!  I love, love, love hearing from you guys!

I will be back soonest with more to share!  Until then enjoy your day!  Go and stamp a little...you'll be glad you did!  Big hug!

Live with passion!

Hello there!  Hope your week is off to a good start!  I have a fun card to share with you today! I wandered around my stamp room for a while this morning before I decided what I wanted to make!  Here is what I came up with:

I was feeling a bright and happy green, so I pulled out the Fresh Florals DP pack.  The bright colors in the pack are so pretty!  I pulled out a Lemon Lime Twist piece of paper and the rest of the card just kind of came together!

I used lots of layers today!  I think it just makes for a really interesting card visually.  I used the Sparkle EF to emboss the background.

I added the beautiful butterfly cut from the Bold Butterfly Framelits.  I also added a silver circle (cut in half) tucked under the sentiment.  I used the Beautiful You stamp set for the sentiment.  I layered three circles behind the sentiment using Pear Pizzazz card stock, Whisper White card stock and Lemon Lime Twist DSP.  I added polka-dots to the largest circle using a white gel pen.

I absolutely adore this butterfly!  It is just so elegant and detailed.

Here are all of the products I used to make my card today:

Ok, I hate to post and run, but I have oodles left to do today!  I will be back soonest though with lots more to share!  Have a wonderful day!

Without you...

Hey there!  Hope that you had a nice weekend!  Monday rolls around too quickly if you ask me!  I have been on the go all day today, but do have a card to share with you.  I have found that the days that I take some time to hang out in my stamp room and do a little bit of creating I am simply happier.  There is just something so good for you about creating! Here is the little card that I made today:

I kept things simple today.  Only a couple of layers and not a lot of frills and fluff. I stamped the sentiment from Blooms and Wishes and then stamped all of the flowers and leaves.

I did stamp a second flower and fussy cut it.  I adhered it on top of the first one using a dimensional.  I added one strip of copper trim (that stuff is so much fun!) and then tied a second smaller piece to it.  I spread out the ends for a fun tattered look.

I like the warm feel of this color combo.  I used Very Vanilla, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Soft Suede.  Feels a bit like the beginning of Fall to me!

I added gold highlights by using the 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch and adding a tiny center to each flower and three little sparks of gold on the large flower.  Everything is better with a tiny sparkle or two to it!

Here are all of the goodies I used to make my card today:

My mind has been on all the folks in Texas fighting with weather, wind and water today.  I always feel so helpless when something like this happens.  My heart sincerely goes out to everyone there.

As always, I appreciate you stopping by!  I will be back soonest with more to share!  Have a good day friends!
