Oh, hello friend!

Hi there!!  Sorry to go missing!  I have had the busiest week ever!!  Hubby and I are taking on a new adventure and we have been eyeball deep in things to do!  I will share more details soon, but right now we are trying to get every little thing worked out!  It is very exciting stuff though I tell you!

How are you?  I've missed you!  I am currently away from my stamp room, but have a few supplies with me, so I sat down this morning and made a fun, little card.  Here's the little guy:

I used Old Olive, Whisper White and Blushing Bride.  The background is embossed with the Sparkle Textured Embossing Folder.  I added just a touch of gold with the accent dots using the Gold Glimmer paper and then added the bow to "tie things up!" See what I did there?! :)

I used two layers for the flower and glued them to each other and to the card. I bent the petals up some to give it some dimension. The little stamped heart and the circles are from the Tabs for Everything stamp set.

I used the Tab punch for the outside edges of this design!  I cut it apart at the circles and used one on one side and the other on the other side!  I thought it made a fun little bracket-y looking frame!

Here are all of the products I used to make this little guy:

I hope you are having nice weekend!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Hopes and dreams!

Hello there and happy Friday to you!  I got an early start on my stamp room time this morning, so I thought I'd come by early and post my card.  I have been trying to make it a daily habit to create something.  We have lots going on right now and for that little bit of time I spend crafting my mind relaxes and my stresses ease.  Creating takes me to my happy place!  I just love it!  There is something so cool about starting with a pile of things and turning them into a new fancy project!   Crafting for the win!   Ok, on to today's therapy session (LOL):

I love, love, love (cannot stress enough how much I looooove!!) this stamp set.  It is called Garden in Bloom and it is just...(swoons) beautiful!  It is a Two-Step stamp set.  It has flowers and leaves and flutterbys and bee-bumbles!!  (Makes the bees seem less grouchy when you say it that way!)  You can make Spring flowers or Bright Summer flowers or Fall flowers!  You could even make them all Christmas-y just by changing up your color scheme.  I truly love this set!

I kept my color scheme simple and the design too.  I used Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede ink.  I stamped the large flowers full strength and then stamped off once for the smaller flowers.  I also stamped off (lemon Lime) for the leaves. I wanted to add green, but really wanted to keep it subtle.

I stamped and fussy cut the flutterby and added a blingy Rhinestone body.  She is only adhered on the the left, so she appears to be fluttering around!  I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Ovals for my sentiment and raised them up with a couple of Dimensionals.  I added one simple strip of ribbon behind the sentiment.

Here is the inside of the card.  One simple flower. :)

Here is the pile of stuff I had to put away after I finished making my card!  Feel free to click any image to take you straight to my store.

I hope that you have a super day!   I will be back soonest with more to share!  Leave me a little note or comment and let me know you stopped by!  I love meeting new friends and also love to know when my buddies have stopped in.

Hello there friend!

Well, hello!  Thank you for stopping by!   I have been running all over the place this morning trying to get things crossed off my to do list!  We have a lot going on right now and it seems there is always something more To Do!  Guess life is just like that!  I did manage to make some time to hang out in my stamp room this morning though and make a little card.  It's not too fancy, but it is full to the tippy top with love.  Want to peek?

I started with a Very Vanilla card base and then layered Blushing Bride and another layer of Very Vanilla.  I wanted the card to have a nice soft feel to it.  I stamped the background with a tiny little heart stamp from Eastern Beauty!  {{Fun tip!!  Look for the little stamps in your stamp sets!  They are often little gems and are great for adding background touches!}}  The flower is a double layer from the Pansy Punch with a 3/4" Circle punched center.  I used Gold Foil paper for that and the background behind the word Friend.  The sweet little leaves are from the Pretty Pines Thinlits set.

I used the Metallic Edge ribbon and wrapped it around once and then tied a second little piece in place for my bow.  I used a glue dot to hold it in place.  (It seems to be peeking out here, but I have since put it in it's place!) LOL

I really like this color combo!  I cut the word Friends out from the Lovely Words Thinlits set and then cut out around it using the Layering Ovals Frameits.  I cut it with an oval and then the used the next size up scallop to cut the gold background.

Here are all of the goodies I used to create my little card today:

Wanted to share one more little thing with you!  Every single day when I try to take a picture of my card or project this little lady insists on helping me!  Her name is Rooster and she loves the camera!  Today she was a bit more insistent than normal!

 Rooster says, "Hello!"

Hope this isn't what she thinks of my card today! LOL

Favor, please?  I am interested to know how many folks are stopping by to visit me here.  If you would take a minute to hit follow over there ----------> I would really appreciate it!  Feel free to follow me on any of my social media hang outs!  You can find them all over there ---------> as well!

Ok, I have got to get back to that beckoning To Do list!  I hope your day is happy and that you are able to make some time to create!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
