Hello there! :)

Happy Friday!  I have another card to share with you today! I played around with the new In Color Mossy Meadow a little bit this morning.  It is really a beautiful green!  I tried a couple of color combos before I settled on this one.

It is Pistachio Pudding, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White and Blushing Bride.  What do you think?!  I think they are really pretty together!

I used the sweet Happy Day stamp set for my sentiment.  I had to color one word at a time and stamp twice to get them into this position though!  It was one longer stamp. I ran the top layer of my base through the Decorative Dots EF and used the Stripes EF for my smaller panel.  My flowers are from the Petite Petal punch and Itty Bitty Punch Pack. I also used the Scallop Circle punch, Circle punch, Spiral edge punch and banner punch.

Happy card! :)

Ok, well I am off to do some Friday things!  We have a busy, busy weekend ahead!   Do you have big plans too?  Whatever you do this weekend I hope it is wonderful! I will be back soonest with more to share!
Have a great day!

Cat-astrophe!!!

Hello, hello, hello! :)  How are you on this fine Thursday?!  I have a card to share with you today!  I literally woke up thinking about this color combo so I thought I should try it out!  I am excited to say the colors were even prettier together than I had hoped!!  Yay!!  Now if you know me you know I love my pinks!  All shades!  So, it probably isn't any surprise that this combo includes a pink!  What do *you* think about these two together?

I used the new Blackberry Bliss (really, really starting to grow on me!!) and one of my fav's, Blushing Bride.  Also, used Whisper White and the new Mossy Meadow!

I used the stamp sets Peaceful Petals (sentiment) and Work of Art. (polka dee dots!)  My flowers are puched Pansys, Petite Petals and the sweet little circle from the Itty Bitty punch pack (crying real life tears about that set of punches retiring!! *sniff, sniff!!).  I punched the pansys and peeled them apart!  I like fuzzy flowers!  Think they look softer.  I was pretty tickled pink (ba dump dump!!) with the way the card came out!!  BUT   THEN.... (insert ominous music here!!!).......

I had a little  "cat"-astrophe!!  Meet Poopsie!  She is one of our sweet felines!!!  We have two, which you may remember from previous posts.  She is the shyer of the two, but sometimes likes to participate more than I need her to.  Well this morning she insisted on being part of the photo shoot  and knocked my card off the rail, not once, but twice!!  The poor edges got munched up and it fell on it's poor face, but alas...LOL  Cat's are very funny people!  I forgave her because she cranked her purr box up to over drive and told me how happy she was to be visiting with me. :)  It's the little things, ya know!

Ok, I am feeling crafty today so I plan to spend some extra time in my room creating!  Woo hoooo!  I thank you kindly for stopping by to visit me and hope to see you back real soon!  I will bring the cookies!! :)  Have a wonderful day!  Much love!

Little something for you!

Hiya!  Happy Tuesday to you!  I had the most fun playing with some of the new In Colors this morning!  They are all such vibrant, rich colors.  I am really liking them, although I must admit that I was pretty bummed not to see a beautiful new pink in the mix!  Maybe next time! :)  Want to see what I concocted this morning?

These are the new Hello Honey (isn't that a cute name?!) and the new Blackberry Bliss and the new Mossy Meadow.  Aren't they kinda striking together?!!

I used the Spiral Big Shot Die to make these pretty little flowers.  They are so simple to create, but offer real WOW(!!) to any project.

Here is a side view of the box to show height and width.

Here it is all loaded with some chocolate goodness!

The sentiment is from the new stamp set Num-Num, which will be available very soon in the new catalog!!

I used the Decorative Label punch to make the decorations on top of the box.  I thought it just added a little something to it!

This is one of the easiest projects ever to make!!!  Would you like to know how?!  The box requires an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock.  You want to score on the 8 1/2" side at 2" and 6 1/2",  Then turn your card and score at 4 1/2" and 6 1/2".  This will leave you with a large tic tac toe looking grid.  Cut the little tabs and fold the whole thing into a box shape!  There you have it!  I would recommend decorating though before you assemble the box!  Much easier that way! :)  Here is a visual for you!

If you run into any problems email and I will do what I can to help! :)

Ok then!  My work here is done!  Hope you have a great day!  I am off to make my day that way right now!  I will be back soonest with more to share!  Much love!

3 x 3's for you and you and you and...

Well hiya! :)  Do you make 3 x 3's?!  I have found that they are the perfect size for a little gift card, or a quick hello or my favorite----> sweet little thank yous!  I like to make these to tuck into my customer's orders to thank them for shopping with me!  Well recently one of my very sweet friends (Hi there sweet friend!!)  asked me about 3 x 3's and so I thought it was a perfect opportunity to re-stock my 3 x 3 stash and make a few!  Because these are small they lend themselves to good ole scrap paper box usage!  I pulled out some leftover paper pieces and set to work!  Here are the little guys that I threw together this morning:

These really are fun to make!  Your work space is smaller than a regular sized card, but I appreciate a good challenge! LOL If you haven't tried any of these yet, I suggest you go for it!  You can make up a bunch and keep them tucked in your bag to hand out randomly to people!  You would be surprised by how much people are touched by little efforts like that! :)

Ok, lots of things to do today so I am off!  Hope that you enjoy this beautiful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Stamp Club fun!

Hello there! I had the most fun last night at my stamp club!!  We had a full house and we managed to squeeze about 6 hours of fun and information and crafting into just few couple of hours!  I introduced lots of cool new things to the girls and we stamped and snacked and giggled!  So, that means I have lots to share with you guys today!!  Wanna see...?!!  Ok, first things first!  I like to make and have some sort of little treat available for my guests when they arrive as a little thank you for attending.  Last nights treat looked like this:

I made a whole paper cherry pie!  I served everyone a piece once they were all seated and settled in!

These adorable pieces of pie are the original idea of the very talented (and oh so sweet!) Connie Stewart!  Are they not just the cutest (and yummiest!!) thing ever?!

Here is a single piece topped with whipped topping!  But wait...there is more! LOL

The back opens up so that it can be filled with goodies!

Yum, yum, yum!  Big thank you to Connie for sharing such an awesome idea!!

Next goodie I made them was a bookmark with all of the new In Colors!

The ribbon is the new Hello Honey!  Pretty!  I figured these could be tucked into their new catties!

Then I showed them a couple of the new hostess sets (which are all wonderful this year!!  Every single one is a must have IMO!)  I made this little tag using the Hello Love  hostess stamp set.

I think that those birds are so cute!

Next hostess set I showed was Bloom with Hope. Here is a sample card I made using it.

This card also uses the new Itty Bitty Punch Accents Pack. (flower)

Next I showed them a couple of the new stamp sets and this  sample:

I made this using the new Something for Baby stamp set and coordinating (jumping up and down!!!) Baby's First Framelits!  This set is going to get so much use this year!!

Then I showed them the neat new Rotary Alphabet stamp!  This was a big hit!  You can dial in all sorts of fun sayings!!  Each person got to try it out and this is what we all stamped:

We had a catalog scavenger hunt and then played a fun game!  The new Work of Art (love, love, love, love this new set!!) is a tight fit in the wood mount.  The pieces do all fit back in the box, but it is literally like a puzzle trying to work it all out!  I thought why not turn that into a game?!  Each person had 1 minute to try to make them all fit back into the box!  *giggles!!* LOL It is the little things, right?!

In to our projects!  We made a dress screen card using the new hostess set Bloom with Hope.

Here it is laying flat so you can see all of the panels.

Then we made a card using the Something for Baby set and it's coordinating framelits.

Last up we made an Easel x 4 card!  These are just so much fun to do!

We had such a great time!  I just love getting together with stamping buddies!!  I wish you could all come to my classes too!  I would love to have you!

Ok, well I am off to enjoy this beautiful day!  I have enjoyed visiting with you here and hope you will be back soonest!  I  will see you then!  Much love!

Hearts a flower!

Hello there!  Hope this Thursday is treating you well!   I have a card to share with you today that came from a personal challenge I gave to myself.  I challenged myself to make a card using only what was on my craft table and within arms reach!!  I was able to throw something together pretty easily!  Now what that really means is that someone really, really (REALLY!!) needs to clean their craft space! LOL  Here is my card using only the things on my table:

I made the flowers from heart punches!!  Each petal is a punch folded in half and glued into place!

I just kept adding and adding to this card!  I still am not 100% certain that it is done, but I ran out of things to use (that I could reach, of course!).  Here are the details:

Stamps: Bloom with Hope and You are a Work of Art
Paper: Baked Brown Sugar, Summer Starfruit, Strawberry Slush  and Whisper White
Ink: Baked Brown Sugar and Pink Pirouette
Punches and Dies: Large Heart, Itty Bitty Punch pack, IBP Acc pack and 7/8" Scalloped Circle punch
Extras: Rhinestones and Jute Twine

Soooooo, guess what?!!!  The new catalog will be live on June 2nd!!  We are closing in on the end of the current one quickly so if you want anything you can hop on over to my online store and grab it!  There is even a little bit of  a sale going on right now!!
Here is a link for you--->  CLICK ME!!!

Guess I better go clean up that stamp table! LOL  Enjoy Thursday!!  I will be back soonest with more to share! :)
