Sale-A-Bration....so sad to see you go!!!

Hey there!  Can you believe that today is already the very last day of Sale-A-Bration?!!  My goodness that time just flew by!!  Thought the only right thing to do would be to pull out some of my Sale-A-Bration goodies and make a few final cards with them. (oh so sad!! *sniffles!!*)  Everything in the flyer was a winner this time so I just randomly grabbed and this is what came together:

Most of the things on this card are from the banner kit!  The stamped bits are from the You're Lovely stamp set and I added the safety pin and rhinestones as a fun bonus!

Layers....looooove layers!  This is a no occassion card too so it can go to anybody, anytime!  *Note to self...need to make more of these!!*

I like that there are different textures here as well as layers.  That makes for a fun, quirky kind of card! Woooo!

I made a smaller 3 x 3 card too!  (also a no occasion card!) I used scraps, but who would have ever guessed it?!  LOL

Fun, bright happy colors!  Feeling Spring!!!

The stamp sets that I used are You're Lovely and Petal Parade.  That second set has so many cute possibilities.  The shapes are a little free form and just lend themselves to a happy card!

Close up of the front.  I made the flower with the Itty Bitty punch pack and plopped a pretty little pearl right into the center!

Ok, well there you have it!  My send off to the wonderful Sale-A-Bration period!!  Don't fret!!!  If you haven't gotten your *FREE!!!!* Sale-A-Bration items yet you still have time!!  All day today, but then that is it!  After tonight it is all over!  Head on over to my store-------->HERE to grab your goodies!

Lots to do today so I better scoot!  Have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Spring Banner!

Hello there!  My stamping club met last night and we had the best time!!  Our theme for the night was Spring so I made sure there were flowers and butterflies everywhere. I made each of my club members a little flower vase that looked like this:

I made each of the flowers and hot glued them onto either a pixie stick or a pencil!  The vase is a cute little water bottle from the dollar store!

I stuffed a little bit of tissue paper and a handful of candy down into the vase.  I added a belly band of paper around the middle and a framelit shape die cut of the stamp You Make the World a Better place from Starburst Sayings.

Each one got a ribbon and a sparkly silver butterfly!  These were so much fun to make! There are 6 people in the club so they took a bit of, but oh so worth it because well, they were cute and edible! LOL

I also made each club member a rose with a yummy almond Hershey's Kiss tucked down into the center! I CASE-d this idea from the very sweet and talented Connie Stewart!  Thank you Connie! :)

I made these using the Spiral  Big Shot die, the Blossom punch and the Build a Blossom punch.

Made several different colors!

Absolutely love these and would have made tons more, but only a few kisses come in that giant bag and well......I ate the rest!  In my defense you need sustenance to keep on crafting, right?!  Hershey's kisses and a cup of coffee will give you just that! ;)

I saw this idea on Becky Robert's site and fell head over heels in love with it!  She used a different treat inside though and her dresses were decorated differently.  I decorated all 6 of my little dresses with a different design!  It was like playing dress up! Lots of fun making these little guys too! :)

We made three projects and I wanted to share one of them with you!

My girls all like to make banners!  Well, truth be told they all like to have banners there was some dis-chord amoungst the group when it came time to tie the whole thing together! LOL  Everyone was a super good sport about it though!  I am lucky to have such a wonderful group of ladies that participate each month!

Here are some close up pictures of each letter:

I tied a little flower to each end to make it even brighter and happier!!
These little banners just brighten a room right up!

Speaking of brightening a room right up, would you like to see another picture of our little grand pumpkin?!  She is definitely a room-brightener-upper!!  Take a look at this sweet, sweet face!!

So cute!!! :)  I am just toast when it comes to this little lady!

Ok, well I have about a bazillion things to do today so I better get a move on!  I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Feeling a color combo!

Hey there!  Ever wake up just feeling like a certain color combo?!  Is that crazy talk?! LOL  I did...this morning!  Woke up feeling all  pink, cream and tan!  So when I sat down to create something today this is what came to be:

I used my favorite Best of 25 Years stamp set for this.  It is The Best of Shelli and the images are just beautiful.  I did some sponging and tearing and embossing! Also, added lots of fun layers!

I used half of a doily from one of  my My Paper Pumpkin kits.  I have been hanging onto them until the perfect project came along (that isn't called hoarding though it is simply being prepared! *big cheesy grin!*)  I folded it all up and tucked it in behind all those layers! Cute, huh?!

Here is a close up of the focal point of the card. I added tiny little pearls and one of those oh so pretty Petite Petals flowers. I just kept on adding and adding until it looked right!  I must say this was a fun card to make!

I will include a list of products used, but as always feel free to zip me an email with any questions!  I hope you have a super day!  Much love! :)

I will be back soonest with more to share!

Thanks so much!

Well hello there!  Am I confused?!  It is actually Spring?!  I mean I thought the calendar said so, but we woke up to Winter again this morning!? LOL  Take a look at this:

It has been coming down all morning! LOL  It is beautiful, but sheesh!

Oh well!  What can you do other than just sit back and enjoy it?!  :)  One advantage is that it is quite conducive to stamping and crafting!  I was able to sit right down and throw together another card this morning!  I am still working on making my mom (Hiya MOM!!! *waves like a madwoman!!*) a stack of cards to keep on hand and since you can never have enough thank you cards that is today's focus! Want to see?!

Kind of masculine!  Less soft colors than usual. I embossed and sponged and added some lines to all my pieces to pull the whole thing together.

I added some punches and lots of layers.  I love to layer!  It just gives your project so much interest.

Here is a list of the goodies I used today (minus my DSP...it is retired):

Gentle reminder!  We are down to the very last week of Sale-A-Bration!!  If you want to get any of those free goodies now is the time! Hop on over to my store by clicking any of the above pictures and grab your goodies!  Every $50.00 in product that you buy earns you a free goody!

Ok, I want to do some more quick cleaning in my stamp room and then work on some fun projects!  Want to come over and play?!!  Come on over!  We can have a snow stamp party and stamp the afternoon away!   I hope you have a great day!
