Christmas Card Sunday #17

Hello there!  Time for another Christmas card!  I am so excited to be building up my stash of cards!!  Are you playing along with me yet?  Our weather has been so wonky here lately that it is hard to believe it is Spring!  Although waking up to a cold morning does make it easier to craft a Christmas card, I must admit I would love to see Spring move in and stay a while! Ah well..what are you going to do!  Here is my card for this Sunday:

Since I have been playing with things that are on the Last Chance list, I thought I would use some of my favorite Christmas things that are on their way out (*sniffles!!*).  The Santa's Sleigh may be my all time favorite set of Thinlits ever!  It has so many wonderful shapes!!  I used it today to cut out my tree!  I cut it once in Soft Suede and once in Tutti Frutti and then trimmed the trunk and layered them.  My sentiment is from the Merry Mistletoe  stamp set and I stamped it in Old Olive.

I added gold accent dots using the Gold Glimmer paper and a standard hole punch for a little bit of sparkle! Fun, fun, fun!

Here are all of the goodies that I used to make my card today:

Now I don't want to put any pressure on you, buuuuut we are down to only 240 days until Christmas! *giggles!!*  Grab a Christmas stamp and some folly, jolly paper and make yourself a card or two!  You will be glad that you did!

As always, thank you for stopping by!  I love visiting with you!  Come again...I'll make cookies!  Big group hug!

Sending you hugs!

Hello there!  I have been trying to get here to share my card with you all day long! It has just been one of those days!  Lots going on around here!  I have been using some more goodies from the Last Chance list and put together this little guy:

My card base is Whisper White and my layers are Sweet Sugarplum, Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzazz.  I used the stamp set Lovely Inside & Out for the sentiments.  I ran the background piece through the Sweethearts Textured Embossing Folder.

The hearts are from the Sweet and Sassy Framelits set and the flower is from the Pansy Punch and Leaf punch.

Here are all of the goodies that I used to create my card today:

ATC fun!

Hey there!  How is your Wednesday going? Well, I hope!  Have you heard of ATC's?!  ATC stands for Artist Trading Card and they are the neatest little things!  They measure 2.5" x 3.5" and are so much fun to create and decorate.  I needed to make a few for a project I am working on and thought I would share them with you. Take a look:

I used the Paint Play stamp set for the first 2 ATC's.  My card base is Chocolate Chip and my layers are Pink Pirouette and Whisper White.  The space is small, but I tried to fill it up!  I stamped my flower and then the leaves.  I stamped the sentiment next and then added some gold glimmer accent dots using a standard hole punch. Easy, peasy...quick and done!

My second card uses the same stamp set. I did some stamping on the card base and then stamped a flower and fussy cut it.  I adhered it down on the center only and added some Gold Glimmer dots.  I stamped and cut out a leaf from the stamp set and tucked it under the flower.  These really go very quickly.

The third one uses the Watercolor Wings stamp set.  I ran the Pink Pirouette piece through the Brick Wall  embossing folder.  I did my stamping and added some Silver Glimmer dots for some sparkle.  I tore the top of the Whisper White piece for a bit of a tattered look.

Here are all three of them together.  I love making these little guys!!

Here is a list of the goodies I used to create these.  Lots of these things are on the retiring list and are now on a while supplies last basis.  Be sure to grab the things you want soon, soon!!

I will be doing some ATC swaps soon!  If you are interested in swapping ATC's with me zip me an email and let me know!!

Hope that you have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with lots more to share!

Friend!

Hello there!  It is cold and dreary here this morning.  Boooooo!  Doesn't look like the sun has any intentions of even trying to shine today.  Don't know about you, but I sure would love to see Spring make an appearance and actually stay around longer than a day! LOL On that note, I decided I better make my own sunshine, so I headed into my stamp room and made a bright and cheery card!  Take a look:

I wanted to use a few more items that we will be saying goodbye to at the end of May.  I used the Garden In Bloom stamp set.  It is one of my very favorites and I will really hate to see it go.  My card base is Chocolate Chip and my layers are Tutti Frutti DSP, Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz.

Garden In Bloom is a beautiful two step stamp set that allows you to color in the outline images with the solid stamps giving you a watercolor look.  Easy peasy and sooo pretty!!  I stamped my background piece with the small flower and leaf stamps and then went back and stamped in the color!   I stamped one large flower outline, stamped in it's color and then fussy cut it.  I used the  Lovely Words Thinlits to cut out the friends stencil looking image and added the flower to it.  Finally, I tucked a leaf sprig behind the flower that I punched out using the leaf punch.

I layered the friend image over a strip from the tutti frutti DSP pack.  I wanted to carry the color combo throughout the whole card.

Here are all of the goodies that I used to create my card today:

I am trying to get my stamp room all organized and cleaned up this week.  It is a big job!  I tend to be a collector of all things craft-y, so there is stuff everywhere! LOL  Wish me luck!

P.S.  If you don't hear from me for a while...send in some reinforcements (and some chocolate!!)!  Thank you kindly!

I will be back soonest with lots more to share!
