Happy Halloween to you!!

Happy Booooo Day! :)  I have one last Halloween project to share with you today! I made another treat holder and a matching little card to go with it!  This was a combination birthday and Halloween gift.  How fun to get a creepy, haunted bunch of candy on your birthday!

This is a simple box made by scoring at 2.5" along the 11" side and then flipping it to the 8.5" side and scoring at 2.5", 5", 7.5" and 10".  You cut off the end piece and then fold on all of your score lines to create the box shape.

Side View.

View of the goods!

Matching 3 x 3 card.

The duo!

Hope that you have a safe, fun and wonderful Halloween! :)

I will be back soonest with more to share!

Color Me Beautiful Challenge #9

Hello!  Happy Friday to you and you and you!  Today I have another Color Me Beautiful Challenge card to share!  We are already up to challenge #9...can you believe it?!!  The color palate is called Fallen Hues and looks like this:

Here are the Stampin Up! colors we are challenging you to use:

Here is the card I came up with using this color palate:

Halloween is in the air! :)

Ok, now I must admit I thought this color palate was a little unappetizing at first, but the more I played around with it the more I wound up liking it!

We would love to have you come play with us over at Color Me Beautiful!

Have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Witches hat tic tac toe!

Hello! I have another Halloween project to share with you today!  These are the coolest witch hat's ever (and they are so simple to make!!)!!  Not only are they totally fashionable, but they also hold goodies!! Scooooooore! :)  Take a look at these fun things:

Stripes

Polka dots

Houndstooth

More polka dots

I wanted to make some Halloween goodies that offered something other than candy, so I decided a game would be a great choice!  What game is more fun than tic tac toe?!  So after I whipped together these cute hats I made some tic tac toe boards to go with them!

Stamps sets used are Spooky Bingo Bits and Monster Munchies.

Ink colors used are Wisteria Wonder, Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green.

Then I used Spooky Bingo Bits to make some cute little tic tac toe pieces and punched them out with the new tiny scallop punch!

Here is a game in progress!

I wrapped the pieces up in a little bag and tied the bags with ribbon and stuffed them inside of the witch hats.

Here are both pieces together.

All together!

To make the hats you need a piece of card stock 4" x 11".  Score  at 5.5 (in the center) and then on each short end you will mark the 2" place and then score from the 2" mark out to the 5.5" scored mark as shown in the photo above. Do this to both ends.

Fold on all score lines creating the witch hat shape.

Once in this position punch a hole through all layers on top and tie with some fun ribbon!  Remember to add your goodies to the inside before tying shut!  Add a brim and hat band to the front and there you have your witch hats! :)

Hope you are having a good Thursday!  I will be back soonest with more Halloween fun to share! :)

Booooooo!

Hey there!  Can you believe that Halloween is in one short week!!!  Are you all ready with your candy for the little witches and goblins that may come calling?!  I just love Halloween!  It is such a fun thing!  Clever costumes and candy and cool decorations and candy and scary stories and candy!! :)

I am feeling in the booo mood today so I threw together a little Halloween treat and accompanying note card!

3x3 note card all grungy-ied up!  The edges are crinkled and covered in Early Espresso.  The little witch feet are stamped twice and layered and the spider web is covered in Dazzling Details.

Side view.

Simple box made from a piece of Basic Black card stock measuring 5.5 x 11.   The top edge is torn and I stamped the box with Whisper White craft ink using the Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set.

All filled and ready for the giving!

Card and box together!

Are you getting into the boo mood yet?!   I will be back soonest with some more fun Halloween projects to share!

Have a great day!

Color Me Beautiful! Challenge #* Winged Hues

Hello!  Time for another Color Me Beautiful challenge!  This is one is #8 and is called Winged Hues.  We are having the best time over there and if you haven't stopped by I encourage you to!  Here is the color palette for this week:

Here are the Stampin Up! Colors that we chose:

Here is the card that  I came up with:

I used  this sketch from Mojo Monday for my layout.

I used all of the colors although I had a hard time adding the purple!  Don't get me wrong!!  Purple definitely belongs in a beautifully colored world , just had a tough time making it work on this card! LOL

I used the new smallest scallop circle to make the flower and the two step bird punch to make the leaves!

So come on over to the Color Me Beautiful blog and see the amazing projects that our design team has come up with!  Those girls are just fabulous!!  See you there!

Have a wonderful day! :)

Merry Christmas swap card!

Hey there!  I know that we haven't even finished cleaning up the stray candy papers from Halloween yet, but I made a Christmas card already!  My demonstrator group meets monthly and our swap theme this month was Christmas cards!  Now since I am one of the world's most brilliant procrastinators I normally wouldn't even begin to think about thinking about Christmas until after Thanksgiving so this one required some real effort on my part! LOL  Here is what I put together:

Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Always Artichoke and Silver Glimmer paper.

I ran the background image through the Petals A Plenty EF and then added silver Dazzling Details to the centers of each of the flowers.

The holly stamp is fro the Make A Mitten stamp set and I used Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke markers to color it.

Gosh!  Christmas really will be here before we know it!  Have you made any Christmas cards yet?! :)

Have a wonderful Tuesday!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Thank you x three!

Hello!  Quick post today since there are more things on my TO DO list than there are hours in the day. :)  I recently made a few little thank you cards that I wanted to share with you.  Fall is happening in full force all around us, so it seemed like a logical choice to use that as my inspiration.  Here are my little fall 3x3 thank you notes:

Falls colors and fall die cuts.

Simple, sweet and to the point.

Thank you X three!

Hope that you are enjoying fall where ever you are!  Be sure to take a minute or two to be inspired by your fall surroundings.  It is a beautiful time of the year. :)

I will be back soonest with more to share.
