Card and a tag!

Hello there!  How's your weather?!  It has been so crazy here!  One day it is literally snowing and then the next we are peeling off our coats and sweaters because it is so warm!  Today is one of those warm days!  Very pretty out, but makes it a little more challenging to be in the Christmas spirit when you are bopping around in a t shirts and tempted to slip your flipper flops back on! LOL  Oh well!  Just have to go with the flow I suppose!!

I have a Christmas card and tag to share with you today!!  My very sweet down line and I are hosting a 12 Days of Christmas card give away on my facebook page and this was my give away for day #1:

I used the deer from the Merry Mistletoe stamp set and the sentiment is from the At Home With You stamp set.  I cut out my circles using the Stitched  Shapes and Layering Circles Framelits.

I used the Holly Textured Embossing folder for the background.  Before I ran through my Whisper White card stock though I inked up the folder with my Crumb Cake stamp pad.  This gave it a bit of a grungy look and made the design pop.

I used the Sparkle Texture Embossing Folder on the Gold Foil strip and added some accent dots using a standard hole punch.

I used the same goodies for the tag adding the sentiment from the Smitten Mittens stamp set and leaving the background plain.

Always nice to match a tag and card up when giving a gift!  Makes the whole git feel more complete!

Here are all of the goodies I used to create the set:

Crate full of coconut goodness!

Hello there!!  We are counting down the days and time is starting to feel a little bit crunch-y to me!!  Are you looking for a quick, fun little gift idea?  I threw something together super quick this morning and wanted to share the idea with you!  You could put lots of different little goodies in here for the giving and because it goes together quickly you could make several in one sitting!  Here is my little giftie:

I put coconut macaroons in mine, but you really could put lots of things in here!  Little lotions or chocolates or chap sticks or other kinds of cookies or snacks.

I used the Wood Crate Framelits die to make the box and added that sweet deer from the Cookie Cutter stamp set.  I created 2 patches of Holly Berries using the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set and coordinating punch to punch them out.

I added a little pearl topped bow to my deer because they aren't all Rudolph's, ya know! :)  Isn't she sweet?!

I wanted to make a tiny little card to go with it, so I made a  3 x 3.  It's one of my very favorite sizes of cards!  They are the right size for adding a little, warm note!  I stamped he sentiment using the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Here is a view from the top with my goodies of choice tucked in there!

Here is a list of all of the goodies I used to create this project:

It has just started snowing outside, so I am off to make a cup of tea and enjoy the show!  I hope that you have a great day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Rockin' Rudolph and freeeee shipping....oh my!!

Hello there!  How are your Christmas cards coming?  I am about 2/3's of the way finished with mine!!  I think that next year I will make them way in advance so that when December rolls around they will all be made and I will just have to address them and pop them in the mail box!!  More about that at the end of this post!!  I made one single card this morning...just one!  I planned to make 4-5, but my morning has been a bit nutty, so 1 it was! LOL here is the little guy:

I used the Cookie Cutter stamp set and coordinating punch to make these cute little reindeer guys!  I stamped them in Chocolate Chip on Soft Suede card stock and punched them out. Each little reindeer also got a bow tie and of course, Rudolph, got his red nose!

I added them to a strip of gold Foil paper and stamped the sentiment from Snowflake Sentiments.  The gold stars are from the Mini Treat bag Thinlets.  I also roughed up the edge of the Whisper White card stock to add a little bit of texture.

I think this sweet little deer is adorable!   He has such a bog personality!  My card went together very quickly today!

Here are all of the goodies I used to create it:
