Stamp Club = fun times!!

Well hello there! I have been busy, busy, busy up to my eyeballs lately!!  Doing what you might ask?!  (Go ahead and ask!!)  Getting ready for....................................(wait for it!!)  CONVENTION!!!!! (Thank you for asking!)  It is that time again!!  Time to make my swaps and pack my bags and head to Utah for a week of stamping, socializing, laughing, and basically hanging out with 3,000 of my closest stamping buddies!!   Time to start getting excited!!  You should see my stamp room!  It is utter chaos in here right now!  I have half finished swaps and project pieces all over the place!  :)

In the meantime though I thought I would stop by and share some details from my Stamp Club this weekend! We had such a great time!  We had a full house too!  That always makes for a great class! :)  I am very lucky to have such a great group of girls!!  We made four projects and of course there was a little thank you goody!  Want to see...?!

This was my little thank you gift for everyone!  These yummy little Heath bars are the  bomb!!  I had to close up the rest of the bag and hide it from myself though, because yuuuuummmmmmm!!! :)

First we made a never ending card!  These things are sooooo cooool!  I just love this project!  It lays flat like this for mailing, but then....

opens like this!  Then opens again like this....

Looks like an entirely different card!  But then it....

opens again and....

again and.....

It just keeps going and going and going!  All this in one card!!!  *thud...falls over!!*

I don't think I could possibly walk you through this process verbally, but if you want to make one of these little beauties and I highly recommend that you do (!!)  you can YouTube never ending cards and get about a bazillion videos on how to!

Next we made these cute little gift bags (courtesy of the very talented Ronda Wade)!  I just love these little guys!  So quick and easy and too cute for words!

Another view!

Next up was this basket!  (also a Ronda Wade project!)

Cute, cute, cute!

Last project was this fun little 3 x 3 card!   This card uses the new Work of Art stamp set (which I love!!!) and the cute little Itty Bitty Accessory punch pack. It was a quick card that will look cute plopped into the middle of any July 4th centerpiece!

Wreath Class!

Hey there!  Have you ever made a clothespin wreath?!  They are the cutest things ever.  They go together pretty quickly and you can make them for any occasion by changing the paper and embellishments! I had a class this weekend and we all made one!  Fun, fun stuff!!  I made one ahead of time and then made a second one during class.  Here are the ones I made:

I made two sizes.  This was the smaller one of the two.  It measures about 10" from top to bottom and used 37 clothes pins.  I cut my paper into 1/2" x 3" strips and covered my pins and then hot glued them onto a chipboard ring.

I added flower embellishments from the new Flower Frenzy Big Shot die to dress it all up!

This was the one I made in class!  It is a little larger and measures about 12" from top to bottom.  This one used 45 clothespins.  The adorable pin wheels are from this months My Paper Pumpkin kit!  They are so cute!!

I added some silver stars to top the whole thing off!  They matched the awesome giant silver brads that came in the MPP kit!  These were both a lot of fun to make!  I used the chip board that came in the packages of page protectors from the Project Life goodies to make the chipboard ring.

If you haven't tried one yet I highly recommend it!

I hope that you have a great day!  I will be back soonest! :)

Project Life Fun!

Hey there! I had such a fun class last night!  It was An Introduction to Project Life!  Have you ordered your Project Life goodies yet?  It is such a fun way to scrap book and document the pieces of your life!  We played with several of the PL products and made a couple of pages each.  Everyone did such a great job putting their pages together too!! I started the evening off with a yummy little thank you for coming gift for everyone.

Since we were scrapping I thought it was only appropriate that the gift be camera themed!

I ran the box through the the Mosaic EF and added the cute new Snapshot camera onto the front!  The filmstrip is from  the On Film Framelit set and the arrows are from the cool new This Way punch! (love, love, love!!)  I added Crystal Effects to the lens of the camera and some silver Dazzling Diamonds to the camera body.

Here are a couple of the pages that I made:

This one is of our grand pumpkin her first week home.  Look at those adorable baby fingers and toes!

This one is of our sweet puppy that we lost to heart failure.  She was the sweetest girl.  We miss her lots. (sniff, sniff!)

This one is of all of my kiddos and their sweeties!  We were all together this past weekend and it was awesome!!

So, then after we worked on our PL pages we made a project using PL products, but that had nothing to do with PL!  We made birthday calendars and used the PL Day to Day, Point and Click and Remember This stamp sets.

This is how they looked on the outside.

Each month has it's own page so you can keep up with everyone's birthdays and anniversaries!

I am really excited about all of the fun new Project Life products!  I am hopeful now that maybe I can actually get caught up on my scrapping!

Ok, I am off to play some in my stamp room!  Hope that you have a great day!

Flower pot full of love!

Hey there!  Sorry to have gone MIA!  It has been a very busy couple of days around here.  We have had a house full (all of our kids at home at once!!) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!  Three birthday parties, a family dinner, classes and lots of misc running around! Phew!  It was utter chaos having everyone home at once, but it makes me so happy!  I love the noise and the commotion!  I love seeing my kids and their wonderful (we are very lucky!) significant others all piled around the living room together hanging out and laughing! It is a wonderful thing!  :)

I have a project to share with you today that I almost didn't share!  I was in a hurry when I snapped the pictures and they are way, way over exposed.  Decided to share anyhow because it was just so much fun to create!  One of the birthday parties that we went to required a mutual gift so this is what I put together:

The guests of honor like gardening and plants and flowers and chocolate so I combined them all!  I made severel flowers using misc punches and dies.  I sponged the stems green and added leaves!

Also, tucked in some flower seed packets, a gift certificate for dinner out and a healthy supply of chocolate!  Once the chocolate goodness is gone the pot can be re-used to hold real  flowers!

I made a tag using the retired (sniff, sniff!) stamp set Beautiful People and tied it onto the front! This was really a lot of fun to assemble!  **Please pardon my stinky photos!  Photographer I am  not! LOL

Want to see another cute thing?!  This is our beautiful little grand pumpkin in her froggy hat!  She is such a sweet little person! :)

And another because I am totally  smitten with her!

Hope that you have a wonderful day! I have a Project Life class tomorrow that I am super excited about that I am off to make preparations for!

I will be back soonest with more to share!

Officially a Big Shot!

Well hello there!  I had such a great class last night!!  It was a Big Shot class and we had a ton of fun!  We explored all the fun things a Big Shot can do!  We played with Embosslits and Thinlits and Framelits and Big Shot dies and Embossing Folders galore!  Here are some photos from the class last night:

I made the cute little purses from the Big Shot Die as my thank you gifts!  They had yummy candy goodness in them!

I used the new Itty Bitty Accessories punch pack for the flower and topped it off with some clear Dazzling Details.

Here are the colors and designs I made together.

Our first project was Scissor Charms.  These fun bottle caps are retired, but I believe you can use any old bottle caps to make these!

Here is mine in use!

Here is a summer banner made using the new Big Shot die Party Pennants.

We used the same die to make a mini album.  It comes with four pennants, 2 in each style and size. We also used the new Flower Patch and Flower Fair BS stamp set and die bundle.

This would make a great little brag book to fill with photos and pop into your purse or bag.

We also used the Label Card Thinlet to make a project.  This is it's intended use.

It does this really fun flippy thing so you can put a message on both sides!

We got a little jiggy with it and made a double swing hinge!  I saw this idea on Pinterest!

Lots of room for a message in the inside.

Our last project uses the fun new Flower Frenzy Bigz die and the new File Folder Edgelits to make file divider tabs!  This box is to sort ad store different themed cards.

Close up the flower.

The file tab edgelits create the cutest file tab dividers.  You could use them for recipe cards or other craft ideas or any ideas really!

Do you have a Big Shot?!  It is such a fantastic tool!    It  has so many fun uses that really add to your projects!  It is totally worth the investment in my opinion.

Ok, well this day is zooming by and I still have tons of stuff to do!  Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!  I will be back soonest with more to share.
