Tis' the season...for lots of thank you's!!

Hello there!!  Running, running, running this morning!  How about you?  So much to be done!  Are you ready for Christmas?  So many people do so many nice things this time of the year!  I always find it a good idea to have a stack of thank you cards handy!  I made another one this morning and wanted to share it with you! Here it is:

My card base is So Saffron and my layers are Whisper White, Pool Party, Soft Suede and Pear Pizzazz.  I ran the Whisper white background and the So Saffron flower center through the Dynamic Textured Basket Weave Embossing folder.

My sentiment is from the Thanks So Much stamp set and I added leaf and sprig punches.

I used the Layering Circle Framelits to frame my sentiment and the flower is punched using the 4 Petal Flower punch.

Here are all of the goodies that I used to create my thank you card today:

I hope you are zipping right along with all of your Christmas preparations!  I know it can be a stressful time, but try to step back, take a deep breathe and just enjoy the goodness of the season!

Have a super day and I sure hope to see you right back here soonest!

Shadowbox scene!

Hello there!  We are starting to get awfully close to the wire!!  7 days left until Christmas!!  Are you ready?!!  I so am NOT!!  LOL  I still have so many things left to do! I spent this morning working on another framed shadow box scene!  I just love these little things!!  Take a look:

It measures 5" x 7" and is 2" deep!  I added an extra layer this time when I made this one!  Fun stuff!!  I wanted it to look look a serene Winter's day!  Little snow guy just hanging out with his deer (see what I did there?!) buddies enjoying life!

If you look closely, you can see all three layers here.  I added the first layer of snow right up against the glass and the second one is smack in the middle.  The last layer is flat against the frame back.

I added some snowflakes and some trees!  I used die cuts from the In the Woods Framelits set and Seasonal Tags.

These make great decorations or gifts!

Here is a complete list of everything that I used to create this (minus the frame which I bought at out local Dollar store!):

Ok, I  am off to make some more Christmas things happen!   Hope you are having a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

8 days until Christmas...yikes!!

Hello there!!  We are down to only 8 days until Christmas!!  Are you ready?  I would say I am about 48% ready!  I have sent cards, decorated the house, eaten my weight (which has now increased!!) in holiday treats, made oodles of little things and have done a teeny bit of shopping!  Guess I better  buckle down and get the rest of my To Do's To Done! LOL

Hubby and I are working on a fairly large house project this week (because well you know it makes total sense to start a complicated and involved project when you have 91,000 other things to do!) LOLOL  I do have a few little things that I wanted to share with you today though!  Take a look:

First little guy is a gift card holder!  It opens and closes like a book.  I cut my paper 5" x 8 1/4".  On the 5" side I scored at 3 1/4" and folded upwards.  On the 8 1/4" side I scored at 4" and 4 1/4" creating a spine for the 'book'.

I cut away the folded up side on the left and adhered a piece of chocolate. On the remaining right side I adhered the outside edge down creating a pocket.  This pocket will hold a gift card perfectly!  Easy peasy and so quick to make!  I dressed up the front with some DSP and a cute little candy cane and bow!

On to the next little guy!  I had this cute leftover bag and knew it would make a great gift bag.

So, I turned this into.....

...this!  I added some DSP and a few fun little die cuts to the front!  I stuffed it with some tissue paper and cannot wait to fill it with an actual gift and give it away!

Side view.  I added matching paper to the back as well.  Fun, fun, fun!!  Hang on to all of your bags, because you never know when you will be able to dress one up for the gift  giving!

Here is a list of all of the goodies I used today to make little projects:

Ok, I  am off to tackle some of those To Do's!  I hope that you have a wonderful day!  I will see you soonest!
