Crate full of love!

Hello there!  Happy middle of the week to you!! Love is in the air!!  I was feeling inspired to make something besides a card today, so I pulled out some other goodies and this little guy came to life:

I made a wooden crate using Sweet Sugarplum and the Wood Crate Framelits.  After I cut out the pieces I ran them through the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder for a fun wood look.  I used the Heart Happiness stamp set for the cute hearts and flower and the sentiment is from the January  Paper Pumpkin kit stamp set.

Here is a view from the top!  You can tuck all kinds of little gifties in there!

I added some sweet enamel accent dots which also came as a part of the Paper Pumpkin kit.  I used the Leaf punch and Lemon Lime Twist card stock for the leaves and popped the whole thing up using Dimensionals.

Here it is in use!  This would make a fun little pick me up gift for someone!  Or a nice thank you gift!  Ooooh, or a great little birthday gift or an I am thinking of you gift or a....

Here are the supplies that I used to make my little project today:

I hope you are enjoying this last day of January and looking forward to all that February brings!  Thanks again for stopping by!  I will be back soonest with more to share!  Have a great day!

Caring heart!

Hello there!  How are you today?  Hope all is well with you!  I spent some time playing with a fun new stamp set this morning and wanted to share my card with you today!

I combined the sets Flying Home and Swan Lake to make this little guy!  I used Rich Razzleberry as my card base and layered Pink Pirouette and Whisper White on top.  I added a strip of Fresh Florals in Razzleberry over that!  That strip as actually the inspiration for my card today!  I started with that and built the card around it!

I used a pile of Blends to color my image and matted it against a scalloped square from the Layered Square Framelits.  I cut it out first using a Stitched Square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits!  Did you know they worked together?!  Too cool!  I stamped a butterfly, fussy cut it and added it to my main image.  I only glued it down in the center, so I could fold the wings up and give it the look of flight!

I stamped that same butterfly on the inside of the card for a nice finished look!

Here are all of the supplies I used to make my card today:

Have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Christmas card Sunday #4

Hello there!  Sunday already and that means it is time to make another Christmas card to add to my growing stash!  I made one design, but 2 cards today.  Every time I make one of these little guys I get so excited! LOL  I love to think that this is one less (giant!!) thing I will have to do at holiday crunch time this year!  Want to see my card?

I kept it simple today!  I used Garden Green as my card base and layered Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla on top!  I used the beautiful flower stamps from Painted Harvest to create a Christmas wreath.  I stamped my wreath 2 times in Lemon Lime Twist, rotating my stamp the second time and then stamped right over it in Old Olive to add the dark highlights.  This is a 2 step stamp set and adds gorgeous details with the addition of that second stamp.

I added some simple little gold accent dots using a standard hole punch and Gold Foil sheets.  The bright red bow is from the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set and I punched it out using the coordinating Holly Berry Builder punch.

One design, two cards!!  Two for the price of one! Win, win!!  Notice that although I used the very same colors and technique that my wreath's are a little bit different from one another!  I love that!

Here are all of the products I used to create my cards today:

You can click on any of the pictures to go to my on line store!  Happy shopping!

I am off to make the best use of the rest of the weekend!  Thanks for stopping by!  I will be back soonest with loads more to share!
