Hello and Happy Hump Day! Wednesdays are my very busiest days of the whole week so I will keep this brief! We have our home school meeting today! We are meeting at the park! Then we have to rush to soccer practice and gymnastics! It makes for a looong day, but so worth it because my kids just love their activities! :)
I have a fun swap project to share today! I am involved in a monthly swap with some very good friends of mine! We each take turns hosting a challenge of some sort and we all do the challenge and send one to each other. It has been a blast and I have really enjoyed it! The challenge this month was to make tags using the letters in the word Spring! Then everyone gets a set! I went with the whole butterfly and flowers angle! Here are my tags and the finished project all together:
Ok, I am off to tackle my day! Have a wonderful day yourself! I will be back soonest to share more!

More Stamp Club projects!
Hi there! How are you today?! Doing well I hope! I wanted to stop by and share two more of the projects from my stamp club with you guys! Both of these were really fun to make! The first card uses the bird from the Stampin Up! Two Step bird punch. I just love that punch! It uses one of my very favorite color combs too! Here it is:
I saw this card here and just had to CASE it, making a few changes! I really like this punch! I just love the spring feel of this card!
The second card is from the Stampin Up! catalog and uses one of my favorite sets called Just Buzzin By! How cute are those little bees?! I cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals. Their little wings are sparkly with Dazzling Diamonds and the bee hive is water colored using an aqua painter! The picture doesn't really show the sparkle, but it is super cute in person! :)
Ok, that is it for me today! Hope that you have a great day! I will be back soonest with more to share! :)

CCC# 24
Hello! Time for another Crafty Critter challenge! This one was hosted by my sweet friend April! *Hiya April!* She came up with a good one. Here are the particulars:
We are going to be making an easel card for this challenge. I promise you this card is super easy to make. I know it looks hard but once you see the tutorial you'll realize just how simple it is...that is why we are doing this challenge...people think something is hard then try it and realize how easy and beautiful it is!!! So....here is the tutorial......easel card
But that's not all.....we are also going to make this a recipe challenge too.....
so you will need to include on your card
1. thing that glitters
2. ribbons
3. layers (at least)...so layer that card up!!!
4. colors...colors on your image, on your DP, on the ribbon whatever...just as long as there are 4 different colors on your card!
My 1)that glittered is the gemstones.
My 2)ribbons are pink!
My 3) layers are actually layers deep!
My 4) colors are pink, gray, black and white!
This was a really fun card! Thanks for the great challenge, April! :)

A little Easter fun!
Hello and happy Monday! Hope that you had a good weekend! We had a full weekend and a weekend full of rain! :) It was nice though!
I had my stamp club on Friday night and we had an absolute blast! I have a great group of girls and look forward to it every month! We did 6 projects! Our theme was Easter/Spring, so all of our projects touched on those! Want to see what we made?! Here are three of the projects:
Sheep!
Chick-ee!
Bunny!
Ok, aren't these the cutest things ever?! They are all baskets and would hold a really nice amount of chocolate or other little Easter goodies! :) These little guys are floating around all over the place, but this blog is where I first saw them. Check out her blog! She does really wonderful work!
I am kicking myself for not taking pictures of their little backsides! They all have cute little tails!
They are all made using Stampin Up! punches and dies! I love all three of them, but that bunny just melts my heart! These were a giant hit with my girls!
I will be back tomorrow to show you a couple more of the projects! Hope you have a great day! Enjoy your week and be sure to do something nice for yourself! :)

Scraps and flowers!
Hello! How are you today?! :) I have been so busy all day long! I am working on organizing and cleaning my stamp room! It is taking forever because I share that space with my kids and all of their home schooling supplies! Have you ever heard the expression that you have to break some eggs to make a cake?! Well, I have managed to break eggs all over the place! Goodness! What a mess I have made! I am trying to relocate and position all of my supplies so that they are easily accessible and still look neat and tidy! It is a BIG job! I must either have too much stuff or simply not enough space! I am sure it is the last thing! :)
I managed to take five (ok, I got completely distracted!) today long enough to make a card! I was going through some images I received in a swap and found this cutie and had to color her in! She just looks so happy, doesn't she? I would love to have a cute little dress like that! Here is my card:
The entire card was made from scraps or leftover project pieces! I paper pierced the edges to give it a border and used my scallop border punch for the paper edges. The flower and button were left over form a card kit! :)
Ok, I am wiped out so I am heading to bed! We have a full day tomorrow! Home school group, gymnastics and soccer practice! Run, run, run! Have a great night! Be back soonest!

Happy New House!
Hello! Hope that you are having a good weekend! We went to a house warming party today! The kicker is that the house we were warming belongs to one of the 'children' that has been a part of my home schooling group for years! I watched him grow up and here he is ready to warm his own house! Sheesh! Where in the world does the time go?! It was a very nice get together and I am really happy and excited for the new couple.
I made this little card to go with our gift. I used one of the new Stampin Up! Sale-A-Bration sets called Good Neighbors. I stamped several little houses in drab colors and then stamped a bright blue house and layered it three times to make it stand out. I love the little trees that come with this set and drew my own tree swing on one of them. I masked the clouds to make them look full and fluffy! Looks like a cozy little neighborhood, doesn't it?! :)
The layers:
Card with envelope:
This is such a fun set! It was kind of like playing dress up, but with house pieces rather than clothes! You can mix and mingle all the different stamps to make lots of fun looks! I am seeing lots of use from this set! Love that!
Hope that you are having a great weekend! I will be back soonest! :)

Hello there! Happy Friday! It is time for our Crafty Critter Challenge #23 and guess who hosted this time?! That's right! Little ole me! It was my turn to come up with the challenge so this is what I did:
Challenge #23...Spring is in the air so tell someone you care!!
Well hello Crafty Critters!! My turn to host our challenge and I just couldn't resist making Spring our focus this time! :) This is a two part challenge! The first part of the challenge is to make your project and the second part is to actually SEND it to some one that you care about! :) Here are the particulars:
**Use MoJo Sketch #130 (which can be found here!)
**Use Spring colors!
**Use either flowers or a Spring image!
**You MUST tell us (on your blog!) who you sent it to and the date you mailed it!
**Please post your wonderful creations between March 18th-21st
Ok, so in keeping with my own rules I will be sending this card to my grandma. She loves to get handmade things and I am hoping this will brighten her day! Here is my take on the challenge:
This was a great sketch form MOJO Monday. I really enjoyed making this card. I cannot wait to see everyone else's take on the challenge!
Ok, it is late and I am heading to bed! Have a great night. I will be back soonest!

Bag lady!
Hello and happy Monday! I hope that you had a good weekend! I had a very full weekend! My oldest son who was visiting us had to head back on Saturday and it has left me feeling a little blue. He is such a great kid! He is making his own way and starting his own life and I am so proud of him, but on a totally selfish note I miss him to pieces! He made it back safely! :)
I spent the entire day Saturday working on my swap project for my SU! demo meeting on Sunday! The project was to use a Big Shot Die and fabric to make something. Being the lame-o over achiever that I am I chose to make one of the purses that are so hot right now! I did not have the scalloped die though so I used the Top Note die for the actual bag and the Flower Layers die to make the flowers! I had to make 7 of them!!! That did not include one for myself or the two that my daughters have requested I make them! LOL They are all quilted and have a liner. They were very time consuming, but were so much fun to make!!! They are bigger than they look in the picture and would hold a good amount of loot! :) Here are my bags:
This is my favorite color combo!
I turned all of my edges inward, so these are not really the rag style. I love the rag style but also really like the smooth lines of this type! I love bags!! I have so many it is not even funny! I plan on making a few more of these before I pack my machine back up! :)
Have a wonderful day! I will be back soonest! :)

Spring is in the air!
Hello and happy Tuesday! I am in such a wonderful mood today! The sun is shining and it is a gorgeous 63 degrees outside today! My oldest son is spending his week long vacation with us so he has been here for 2 days and we get to keep him until Saturday! :) It is so nice having all of my kids back together again! We all miss him so much!
Since I was feeling all "spring-y" today I thought I would make and share a Spring card with you! This was not my original idea, but I thought it was just too cute and clever to not CASE! ;) It has been making its way around, but I first saw it here. The really neat thing about these pretty Spring tulips is that they are made from the two step bird punch from SU! The tulip petals are the birds wing and the stems are the branch! Toooo cute! I used my Modern Label punch to make the flower vase! Punched it three times, layered it and rounded the bottom! Ahhhh! Spring is in the air! Here is my card:
I layered lots of papers! I used the scalloped border punch on the bottom of two layers and threw in some green plaid! I mounted the flowers and vase on pop dots to give it some depth. This was a fun, happy card to put together! :)
Hope that your day is filled with sunshine too! :) Have a great one!

Image swaps are so much fun!
Hello! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I have been super busy today trying to de-junk and get some things organized around here! It is a slooooow process, but it feels good to clear out some junk! :)
I received some adorable images today in the mail from my Crafty Critter friend Melanie! *Hiya Melanie!!* We are all participating in a year long image swap! Each one of us volunteered for a month and when it is your turn you send images to everyone in the group. :) Melanie's images were adorable and I wanted to use one right away so I whipped out my markers and made a scrapbook page! I used my beautiful daughter as the subject and chose this image because it reminded me of her! I mixed several different patterns and colors on the page which took me a little out of my comfort zone, but am pleased with the way it came out! What do you think?!
Ok, back to the endless task of cleaning up! :) I will be back soonest! Have a great night!

Stamp Camp Fun!
Hello there!! Sorry to be MIA, but I have been busy up to my eyeballs lately! Don't know if you know it or not, but I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! I just breezed through my 3rd year as a hobby demo and have decided that I am going to give the business end a shot! I got my first Stamp Camp together and rolling and we are into month #2 already! I am toying with the idea of setting up a SU business website as well! So for today's shameless plug...If you ever need anything SU! give me a shout out and I will do my best to get you taken care of! Big cheesy grin! I am LOVING this so far! I have a super fun and wonderful group of girlies in my first club and it has been a blast so far! I wanted to share a few of our projects from our Feb get together with you today!
This is a card using Stampin' Ups! new heart treat cups! I was kind of indifferent about these little guys until I used one and now I want to make everyone I know a card with a heart cup filled with M & M's on it! Too cute! :)
This is a Punch Leprechaun that I found online at SCS and CASED! If he is your original design please holler because you deserve full credit! He is so adorable! We put pin backs on our Leprechaun and my girls all wore him all evening!
This is a 3 X 3 card box that I designed using SU!'s Going Gray, Pale Plum, and Whisper White. I used the BoHo Background stamps for the flowers on the front and the Scalloped edge punch (which you can get for free with a $50.00 order through the end of March!) for the box top! I left mine blank but let the girls stamps various sentiments on their cards.
View of box top!
Cards for the inside!
Single card!
Punch puppy (also CASED) with dog house! I made and added the dog house to this cute little guy! I used the rolling marble technique to give the dog house base a dirty dog look! Making him made me smile big! He is so adorable!
Ok, I am off, but promise to be back soonest! I have really missed blogging and you guys! Have a super day! I will see you tomorrow! :)
