Soccer time!
My hubby and I coordinate soccer in our community! It is a big job and requires a ton of organization! Since I lack that I have to go to great measures to make it all happen! : ) I try to keep all of my notes in one place and so decided to give my little notebook a face lift! I took a standard sized composition notebook and covered it front and back with this really sporty soccer paper from Hot Off the Presses. (LOVE their paper!!) I added some fun pink ribbon and then tied a couple of extra miscellaneous pieces of ribbon on for color. I used Basic Black and Very Vanilla card stock and Basic Black ink. I used the Whimsical Alphabet set from Stampin' Up! to give the journal a title and added a few shiny silver brads. This journal will take a lot of abuse between now and the end of the season, but will make me smile every time I make a new note!
I will be making a second one to keep all of my Home School notes in soon! : )

VERY cute ! Did you mount your alphabet set on the wood blocks or do you use them on the clear blocks so you can see where you're stamping? I have been tempted to unmount my SU stamps and just use them on clear blocks.
ReplyDeleteI will have to alter my regular notebooks too! It makes them so much more cute and special. Plus, if anyone sees them, it's good "advertisement" for yourself.
You do such wonderful work and have great ideas! I love checking in on your blog.
OMG! How cute is this notebook? Love that soccer paper! Just adorable!
