Good morning! Hope everyone is doing well! : ) I wanted to share a couple of the birthday cards I made last month! I counted and I have over 14 birthdays that belong to folks that I care about just last month! That is a lot of cupcakes! LOL I used one of my favorite Stampin Up birthday sets for these cards! This set has become my 'go to' set for birthdays! There is just something so fun about a giant pile of cupcakes! : ) These cards are done in pink, blue, vanilla and chocolate chip! (sounds good enough to eat!!) I used a gold pen to outline the vanilla and added brads and sparkle gems! The icing on the cake is Dazzling Diamonds! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my glitter!!
I apologize in a big way for the lighting in the photos! It stinks...plain and sim ple! LOL I try to take my photos outside to use natural lighting, but if I don't get them at exactly the right hour they are too bright or too dark! The very sad truth is that I am from two (count them!!!) two parents that were professional photographers! Me, I got nothing! LOL I try and try, but my pictures tend to stink! It is ok...I am not too overly sensitive about it! LOL I do get a little frustrated at times, but I am okay with the fact that my strengths lay elsewhere! Silver lining! LOL : )
I am short on time today so I will be skipping the recipe, but will happily answer any questions should they arise! : )
The weekend is coming and I am hoping to catch up in all things craft-y! If you are anything like me though...I am never really caught up! There are always another three cards to make, a swap (LOVE my swaps!!!) due or a project that I am dying to try!! Big grin!
Have a great day! Be back soon!
These are so sweet! That's a lot of birthday cards. It'd be my favourite set too. Love the way you glittered it & tied the ribbon over. I need to make some bday cards. Thank you for the inspiration! I have really really been missing keeping in touch...struggling to keep up. Hope everything is great with you.

ReplyDeleteWow, your parents were professional photographers. . .gosh, I wish I could learn to be a good photographer. I don't know how to use my camera. . .it's always on auto focus. LOL!!

Hi, AnnMarie! Love these yummy cupcakes. That is a lot of cards to make! I thought having 5 in this month for me was a lot.
ReplyDeleteHow cute!!! Wow, going going going on the bday card, huh? Feb. is a busy month for me too but nothing compared to yours -- or maybe I'm just picking and choosing :)
ReplyDeletePretty birthday cards! I agree with you about the big pile of cupcakes saying celebrate!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! When my kids were little I would make cupcakes for their birthday parties instead of cake. Soooo much easier to pass around,LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the bling! Can one have to much bling?
These cards are so pretty - I love what you did with the ribbon. 14?! yikes, I'd be in trouble. I'm so bad about getting cards outon time.
ReplyDeleteI was blessed enough to receive one of these!!!! :D Thanks, AM! Nothing says b-day to me better than a stack of cupcakes - baked or stamped - LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the card and enclosed goodies! You are the best! {{{{HUGS}}}
