Paper beauties!

Hello! How was your Easter weekend?! Wonderful, I hope! Ours was very great! My son was able to come home for the day for a surprise visit! It is always so nice to have all my people together! :) We had a nice day yesterday! It was full of family and good food and the weather was just beautiful!

I stumbled upon the prettiest thing on my rabbit trail hopping yesterday morning and was so excited to try this!! I am in love with all of the Stampin' Up! punches and anytime I can use them to work outside of the box I just get so excited!! In addition to that I have absolutely no green thumb at all! In fact, seems the only thing I can successfully make grow is my children! LOL And even more exciting than the hope for my lack of ability to garden is the fact that my home school group is getting ready to have prom and our theme is enchanted forest! Now I know it sounds as though I have gone off the deep end with this post, but just wait until you see these beauties!!! I promise to explain after the pictures! See:

Aren't these just so pretty?!! I was so excited! They are made using the Stampin' Up! ornament punch which is still available until April 30th, but is on the dormant list. I love it when you can find multiple uses for the punches! They will make beautiful decorations for our prom and I do not have to worry about watering them!!! See, so that is a triple whammy! LOVE it! I believe these originated in the Stampin Success magazine, but I found a great tutorial here. Check out her site, she does really great work! I plan to make oodles of these in all different colors!

Ok, my day is full so I am off to get busy! Hope that you have a wonderful day! I will be back soonest!
