Thankful pumpkins!

Hello!  I needed to make a thank you card and since I am feeling pumpkin-y this week I decided to drag out one of my favorite pumpkin sets and do some masking!  This set is great for this technique.  I always want to use more pumpkins than will fit on my card though with this set!  They are just so cute and look so great in a big ole' pumpkin pile.

I used Autumn Harvest and masked all of the pumpkins around the main one. I used markers to color the stamps and then used an aqua painter to fill in some color and add shadows underneath and around my pumpkins. I stamped the sentiment from Curly Cute and layered my Very Vanilla onto Lucky Limeade and then Pumpkin Pie.  I used the Modern Label punch to punch out my sentiment and made a matte from two additional punches cut in half. I added one tiny little rhinestone to dress it up and then called it finished!

From the side.

Small ones close up.

All these pumpkins are making me crave a warm cool whipped topped piece of pumpkin pie...yummmmmm!

Have a wonderful day!  I will see you tomorrow! :)

  2. Love these pumpkins! I have an aqua painter that has never been used... I really need to try this! I'm assuming it works better with watercolor paper? Awesome pumpkin-y card!
