Iris folding is just too cool!!!

Hello!  Happy August 1st to you!!  I hope that August finds you doing well! :)  I have the neatest thing to share with you today!!  Recently at my demonstrators' meeting one of our lovely members taught us all how to do iris folding!  Now I must admit I was a little (ok, a LOT!!) intimidated by the thought of doing this!  It looked SOOOOO hard!!  Turns out once you get the hang of it it is easy peasy!  I made one there and then came home and made several more!  It is really fun!!  Here is the one I made at the meeting:

Isn't this just the neatest thing?!!!

Here are a few more that I made at home:

These three all use the same paper.  I was going for a vintage-y kind of feel!

This one uses different brighter colors!  I just cannot say enough about this really fun technique!!  If you haven't tried it, you should!!  Here is a video with really good instructions! Check it out and then send me a link to your lovely creations!!

One of the very talented ladies in my blogging group challenged us to make a card using a fancy  fold and so I am hoping this counts!!  (Hiya Maggie!!)  Thank you for a wonderful challenge!!

Have a great day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!! :)
