Bordered Sentiment

Hello!  Happy Wednesday! :) How are you today?!  Hope all is well with you!  I am in a bit of a tizzy today.........I have lost my planner!  YIKES!  So NOT good!  That thing keeps me together and without it I am kind of a big, blobby mess!!  Things in my life are utter chaos right now.  All four of my children are living at home again (2 moved back recently!) plus my sweet daughter-in-law-to-be and their 2 dogs. They are expecting our first grand pumpkin in a matter of weeks!! (11)   Hubby and I have moved out of our room giving it up to my oldest son and we are building an addition onto the house.  It won't quit raining so that we can finish and the entire contents of my old bedroom are piled high in my craft space!  My oldest daughter's things are in piles all over the rest of the house as she shares a room with my youngest daughter and things are just a big ole' mess! LOL  Now if you follow me regularly you know about all of this madness, if you are new though (welcome!) this is what is going on in my little piece of the world right now!   However, despite the madness and the chaos and the mess I am actually quite happy to have all my peeps back in my space!  The mess will eventually right itself, but the time with my family is so valuable and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the whole world!  The only thing that could make me happier would be  if I found my planner!!  Has anyone seen it?! LOL

Ok, well I am pretty certain that you didn't stop by to listen to me ramble and if you did you deserve chocolate! ;) , so on to the eye candy!  I saw the coolest tutorial on SplitCoast this morning!  Now I didn't realize how cool it was until I read through and then tried it!  Look at this:

This is only a two layer card!  That sentiment is not a layer!!  It is actually part of the top piece of card stock!
See....cooler than it looked originally, huh!

You draw your lines, stamp your sentiment, do some masking and then stamp your image above and then below!  It is really pretty in person!

The details:
Stamps: Gifts of Kindness and Kindness Matters
Paper: Chocolate Chip and Pistachio Pudding
Ink: Basic Black Marker, Garden Green and Melon Mambo
Punches and Dies: None
Extras: Rhinestones

Here is a link to the tutorial if you want to make one!  I say try it!!

Ok, I am off to find that missing planner!  Wish me luck!!  Have a great day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
