This is a Triangle card! I have seen these little cuties all over the place and then one day while blog surfing came across one that my sweet and very talented friend Kelly Gettelfinger had made and I decided to give it a try! It is always nice to add a fun new twist to cards!
I fancied this one all up with some pretty DSP and some festive flowers and a happy, happy sentiment! It opens at the top so you can add your personalized message on the inside!
Then I made a matching envelope to go with it!
Envelope with top flap up/open.
Here they are together!
The card tucks beautifully inside!
Slips right down in there so you can close the flap and send it on it's merry way!
The card is made from a piece of card stock that is cut at 4 1/4" x 10 1/2" and scored at 5 1/4". Once you score it you make a pencil mark on the non-fold side at 2 1/8" and the you cut diagonals off on either side starting from that point up to each corner.
The envelope is a 5 1/2" x 6" piece of DSP. You score at 1/2" on the 6" side and then run adhesive on the folded over 1/2" scored piece. Then you match that little folded piece to the left hand side (opposite side) and stick the flap down. Crease your sides at this point creating the triangle shape and fold down the top flap. There you have it!
