Sending a smile your way!

Happy Friday to you!  I have a card to share with you today!  It's just a sweet simple card, but those always seem to take me the longest.  I admire those crafters that can just whip up a project in no time at all.  I fuss over every little detail.  It is such great therapy to head into my little ole' stamp room and create something though, so I don't really mind. Are you a speedy crafter or a slow poke like me?  Here is the card I created to send a smile your way:

Something about this color combo just sings to me!  I love any combo with pink in it, but this one just looks and feels soft and happy to me.

Since I used lots of different shapes for this card to  I tried to keep it simple otherwise.  Your eyes are able to bounce around and appreciate the different shapes without feeling like it's too busy or overwhelming.  I stamped the background in Blushing Bride to match the card color.

Close up of the flower. I used the gorgeous (and I do mean gorgeous!!!) Flourishes Thinlits dies to make this.  That set is extremely detailed and just so, so pretty!!  I can think of tons and tons of  upcoming possibilities for those!

Here is a list of the supplies that I used to make my card:

You can click on any product up above to go straight to my online store and do a little shopping!

I hope that you are having a Friday full of wonderful! I will be back soonest with more to share!

  1. Those die cuts are so neat! I like how you layered them. The pink paper has a great texture to it too. Fun and frilly!
