Hello there! New week, new possibilities! Do you have anything big planned this week? I have a nutty, crazy, longer than I am tall To Do list staring at me from my desk this week! We have lots going on right now and it's feeling a little like there truly are not enough hours in the day anymore! My lists have sub lists and those have sub-sub lists! No biggie though...honestly, I prefer to be busier than not. I like to keep moving and this week that won't be a problem! LOL At the top of my list this morning was to make and share a card with you guys! Spending time in my craft room is a really important part of my day to me! The card I created is a little different than my normal style. It is a bit more chaotic than I usually make. I think since my brain is on overdrive this morning, this is just what spilled out:
My card base is Crushed Curry and my layers are Whisper White and Garden Impressions DSP. It is a 6 x 6 paper pad and flipping through it is like walking through a flower garden! It is really pretty paper! I layered my paper repeating the colors and used a strip of the same paper (flipped over!) to break up some of that bright blue! The sentiment is from the Waterfront stamp set and fit perfectly in a 1 1/4" Circle punch. I matted it against a 1 3/8" Scalloped Circle punch from the same piece of DSP.
The sweet daisy pieces are from the Daisy punch. I punched two and layered them and then added a 3/4" Circle punch on top. I ran both the square background and the Flower center through the Basket Weave embossing folder (I love that thing!!) to get a nice uniform look. I tucked a Mossy Meadow punch leaf-y in behind and called it done! It is definitely a bright cheerful card and the sentiment couldn't be any more spot on! Fun card! :)
Here are all of the goodies I used to create my card today:

Ok, I am off to chip away at that To Do list! I hope that you have a wonderful day! If you have questions about this card or anything I used to create it, please feel free to leave me a comment!
