Hello there!

Well hey there! Quick post tonight! I have a tiny little hello basket to share with you! This is my favorite kind of basket....the kind that holds lots of chocolate! :)  Take a look:

Just a simple little basket made from a 6 x 6 square.  I scored it at 2" and 4" flipped it and scored again!  Folded it all up and added a handful of chocolate goodness.

Hey, Pumpkin!

Hey there!  So I was walking through the store yesterday and turned the aisle to find that they have already started putting out Halloween stuff!!!!  It isn't even September yet and they are already filling the shelves with candy and spooky decorations!!  Guess I shouldn't really be surprised..........seems like it gets earlier every year!  I do happen to like Halloween though, so today when I was making my little card I found myself feeling inspired by the Halloween theme!  Here is my spooky little card:

It is tiny!  Only measures 3" x 4 1/4".  I made the border on my banner by writing a scary little Boo! message over and over!  I outlined the Vanilla piece and added some rhinestones that I colored black with a Sharpie.  Are you feeling scared yet?! LOL

This was a fun card to make!  Although by the time I was done I did find that I was having an intense craving for some chocolate!  LOL

Sweet Celebration!

Hi there! :)  I have a yummy fun middle of the week project to share with you today!  This is made from one sheet of card stock and the handle is stapled on!  Take a look at this cute little guy:

I used one of my favorite new sets called Cycle Celebration!  I am not a bike rider myself, but love bicycles!!  Is that crazy!? LOL  I think this bike is very sweet looking!  The only thing that would make it any cuter would be a basket full of flowers on the front!

I tied the sentiment on to the handle and added rhinestones to the wheels!  I colored them with a Sharpie marker to make them that pretty blue color.  Then I filled it full of chocolate goodness! :)

Hello!  Quick post!  We are putting up  roof  trusses on our addition today and I have ducked in for just a minute to share a card with you! :)

I have been having the best time playing with the new Labels Thinlits dies!!  There are just so many fun little shapes that come in that package!  I went a little wild with the colors, but I think they work well together (or at least bounce off of one another and make for a happy, fun card!).

I used the negative from the arrows for my yellow layer.  The hi, the arrows and the label are all from the set!

ABC Challenge time!

Happy Monday to you!!  Time for another ABC Challenge and I think you should grab your paper and favorite stamps and play along with us!!  Today we are making cards with layers!  LOTS  and LOTS of layers!!  I think I wound up with 6 layers on top of my card base and then an embellishment to top it all off!  Take a look:

I just love this stamp set!!  It is called Yippee-Skippee and it makes me giggle out loud when I use it!  The sayings in this set are just so cute!!  This is one of my favorites!

I stamped the background to create my own DSP using two of the tiny little stamps in the Pennant Parade set!  It pulled all of the colors in together. I colored my rhinestone with a Sharpie.

Christmas card Sunday #33

Heeeey there!  My goodness...33 weeks into this year!!  I just cannot get over how quickly time flies anymore!!  Seems like we were just ringing in the new year last week and here we are almost done with August!  They sure aren't kidding around when they say time flies!!  Sheesh!!  I made a Christmas card today!!  Want to see it......?!!! Ok!

Kind of clean and simple, but festive and Merry all the same, yes?!  I think the pearls just add a little something to it! 

I made my own DSP by stamping some Crumb Cake with the small (but oh sooo wonderful stamp!!) from Pennant Parade.  I just love that little guy!!

Hello and happy Saturday to you!  I have a cute, fun little project to show you today!  It is pouring rain though so I took the pictures inside and the lighting is pretty stinky!  Before I discovered rubber stamping (and it took over my life!!) I was a happy scrap-booker!!  (Now I am a happy stamper/scrapper!)  Lol  Last night I was poking through some of my scrapbook stuff and came across this little tiny mini album I picked up somewhere.  I thought it would be kind of fun to dress it up Stampin Up! style:

I used some of the new Thinlit Labels Framelit pieces!  I sponged all the edges and smooshed the rossette into an ink pad to color it. I also doodled on the arrows and letters!

It is a small album......not quite 4 x 4, but it has lots of pages to add pictures and little doo-dads to!

I just love mini albums!!  I am going to fill this one with pictures and souvenirs from time hubby and I spend together! :)

Hi!!  I am soooo excited!!  The new Thinlits Label Card framelit made it into my mailbox today!!  I couldn't wait to get my hands on these!!  They make really cute flip cards!  Despite my excitement though over the new flip card feature my card today actually features some of the goodies that come with the set!!  Take a look:

Since I have been on a 3 x 3 card kick lately I knew exactly what I wanted to do!  All three of these fun shapes come in the set!!  The little heart is from the Owl Builder punch.

I added the stripes to the arrow and then ran the chubby end of the marker around the outside edges to make it stand out.  I stamped one of my all time favorite stamps in the background of the card to fill in some of the white space and then added some bling!

Funny story!

Hello!  How are you today?  Have you been outside yet?!  It is beautiful!  There is a cool crisp Fall feel in the air!  I know it is too early for Fall and that it will probably warm up again, but this sure is a nice little treat! :)

Ok, so I have a funny story for you!  I happen to have the world's most amazing Grandma!  She is 96!!  Still spry and spunky as they come!  She is very big on card giving and so for the last year or so she has asked me if I would make her cards to send out to her peeps!  Total labor of love and I am happy to do it for her.  She never misses a date though!  You can expect a card from her for every birthday and every anniversary and every other occasion in between!  Well, as some of you may know....my oldest son and his sweetie are expecting our first grand-pumpkin in about 10 weeks.  So, my grandma asked if  I would make her a baby card and send it to her so she can sign it and send it back to the parents-to-be when it is time! :)  So, it will go from here up north and then back to here!  She is so cute! :)  Here is the card I made for her:

These are the colors that have been chosen for the shower theme.  The mommy-to-be is partial to elephants so I thought this stamp would be perfect. :)

I used two different textures, both feel like 'baby' to me!

Shoe box swap!

Hello there!  Happy middle of the week!!  I have a really fun post to share with you today!  You have heard me mention that I meet monthly with a fabulous group of Stampin' Up! demos, well this past Sunday we had an awesome meeting!!  They are always fun, but we did something a little different than our standard meeting this time. We had a Shoe box swap!  That meant that everyone brought a project for each person to make!!  We were supposed to prepare 10 projects and then we each went from table to table doing all of the projects!  Would you like to see all of the fun things we made? :)
