Fun demo meeting!

Hello!  I wanted to stop by and and share some of the fun projects from my demo meeting yesterday with you!   We always have a swap, a demonstration and a make n take.  We also always have an amazing spread of food!  It is so much fun to get together with this group of ladies and share ideas and giggle and have a wonderful meal! I have lots to share with you today so let's get started!  Our swap was a jewelry swap.  We had to make some sort of jewelry using Stampin Up! product!  Here are some of the swaps I received:
Pin made by Teri.

Pin made by Catherine.

Necklace made by Connie.

Pin made by Kaye.

Earrings made by Kavi.

Pin made by Carolyn.

Aren't all of those just so amazing!!??  I was so tickled with this swap!  Everyone did such a great job!

Here is the swap I made:

I made washer necklaces and matching earrings!  The small charm on the necklace and charms on the earrings are made from paper!  The washer on the necklace is made from.....well a washer! LOL  I made several different designs and will share those with you tomorrow as well as the how to's for the paper charms!  I LOVED making these!!!  They were so much fun!  I plan to make a ton of them for Christmas!!

On to our Demonstration (done by Connie!)  She showed us how to make paper snowflakes!!  Take a peek-see:

These were so easy and oh so cute in person!!  I really like it!!  This is made from 2 squares of paper.  You make one and then another and layer them back to back to add dimension! Looooove!

Our make n take was awesome too!  (Done by Catherine!)

Isn't this adorable?!  It holds a tea light battery candle!  Soooo cute!

We had a great time!  Wish all of you could come to our meetings!  We would love to have you! :)

Ok, I will be back tomorrow to share the rest of the necklaces that I made with you!  Until then have a super day!

Under construction!

Hiya!  Super quick visit today!  We have had a full day and still are not done, but I wanted to stop by to say hello!   Hello! :)  We left the house early this morning to run errands and then came home and got straight to work on our addition!  I love productivity!  Woo!!  We are framing walls in the upstairs part today!  It was freezing out there though because there is no heat yet in the new part of the house yet.  Thought I would show you what we were doing while we were hanging out in the cold!!

Now this may look like a simple pile of 2 x 4's to you, but when I look at this picture I see my new closet and our new bathroom!!!  Wooo hoooooo!  Did I mention that I love productivity?!  LOL  (even if it was practically below freezing when we did it!)  Well, it was close!

Ok, I better scoot!  Tonight is date night and hubby and I are headed out the door for dinner and a movie!!  I will be back tomorrow with a fun project to share with you!  Have a great day!

Monster cuteness!

Hi there!  Have you seen the oh so cute monster stamp set Monstermaniacs?  Those little monster guys are the cutest things!!  It is kind of a cool set because it was designed by a fellow stamper rather than a design concept artist at Stampin Up!  They held a contest and this fun entry won!  Here is one of the monsters from the set.

I think he is just adorable!

We are framing walls today in our addition so I have to scoot!  I hope that you have a super day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Hello!

Hi there!  Happy Thursday to you!  I have spent the last couple of hours trying to do a bit of cleaning and organizing in my stamp room.  I am now fairly certain that it is the messiest room on the face of the planet!  Man oh man!!  I think I really am a giant slob when it comes to crafting!! I tend to make mountains and piles of stuff..........everywhere!  Does any one else have a messy craft space?  On the plus side I found lots of cute little pieces of paper scraps just waiting to be turned into a card!  See what I did with them?

Everything here (including the card base!) was hidden under a pile of stuff!

Top Note Die, Decorative Label punch and strips of gold.....oh my!   This is just quick, happy hello card!  I was kind of pleased with how it turned out though!

Ok, I better get back to cleaning up that room or I may not finish! LOL  Have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Christmas wreath class....wooo hoooo!

Hello there!  I have the most fun project ever to share with you today!!!  These little beauties have been floating around all over the internet so I thought I would try my hand at making one! Take a look at this cutie:

The whole thing is made up of paper curls!!  It take 6 12 x 12 pieces of DSP, a wreath base and oodles of stick pins to make it happen!  I probably devoted about 3 hours total to making it.  Fun, fun stuff!

I added a bow and some little details to further 'fun it up!'  The whole thing is  all sparkly and bright now!

I used the Big Shot bow maker to make the bow and added some Dazzling Details (which hadn't dried yet when I snapped the photo...I am impatient!)

I made 3 snowflakes using the Snowflake Flurries stamp set and coordinating  Framelits.

Here is the whole thing again!  I cannot wait to get this hung up for the holidays!!  I am going to be offering a class if you would like to attend!  We will be playing Christmas music and snacking on holiday yummies!!  Would love to have you attend!!  Be sure to send me an email for more details!

****************************************************

On a whole other cute note!!  This is one of my son's fur babies!!  She is absolutely adorable and constantly in trouble!!  We are always hollering, "Ellie, no!", "Ellie, get down!",  "Ellie, bring that back!", "Ellie, that doesn't belong to you!!", "Ellie, stop eating that!!!"...

She is a sweetie though!  Want to see more cuteness?!  Ok, one more!!!

This is my son with our adorable grand pumpkin!!  She is a week and a half old!!  Have I mentioned that I am over the moon for that little lady?!

Ok, well I am off to tackle my To Do list!!  Hope that you have an awesome day!  Much love!

Can't thank you enough!

Hey there! I have a quick post to share today, but wanted to be sure to stop by and say hello!  I had a wonderful lunch date with a wonderful  friend today and came home feeling pretty dang lucky to have such nice friends! :) (Hiya Kaye!!)  I was feeling inspired  to throw together this card:

I used scraps from my craft space for every single piece of this card!  Everything was left over from other projects!  The stamp is from the awesome Chalk Talk stamp set and my Vanilla piece is embossed using the wood grain EF.  Loving that folder!!

The Details:
Stamps: Chalk Talk
Paper: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral, Season of Style DSP and Champagne Glimmer paper
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Punches and Dies: Wood Grain EF, Scallop Circle Punch, Decorative Label Punch and 1 1/4" Circle punch
Extras: Rhinestones

I hope that you have had a nice day too! :)  I will be back tomorrow with a fun project to share with you!

ABC Challenge!

Well hello there blogg-y buddies! How are you today?  I hope all is well with you!  Today is ABC Challenge day and it is kind of a bittersweet challenge for me!  I loved the challenge, but am a little sad because this will be the last one of this year.  We will be taking a break for the holiday season, because we all know how nutty things get around this time of the year!  Be sure to look for the challenges to start up again in January though!  Yay!! :)  Today's challenge was to CASE (Copy And Share Everything!) one of the past design team member's cards.  I had a really hard time picking one because every member is awesome-ly talented!  I would up going with sweet Danielle's June 10th card though.  I just loved the layout!  Here is my card followed by Danielle's card:

Mine is Fall themed and  uses different shapes, but the layout is similar.  I loved all of the fun details Danielle incorporated into her card, so I tried to keep that flow the same.

The Details:
Stamps: Wonderfall and Timeless Talk
Paper: Old Olive, Calypso Coral, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla and Champagne Glimmer paper
Ink: Soft Suede and Cherry Cobbler
Punches and Dies: Decorative Label punch, Circle Framelits, Autumn Accents BS Die, Wood Grain EF and Stripes EF
Extras: Dimensionals and Rhinestones

This is Danielle's adorable card!  :)  Thank you for the inspiration, Danielle!  You can check out more of her wonderful work here.

Since this is our last challenge of the year it would be great to have you come join us!!  Hop on over to ABC Challenges and play along!

I will be back soonest with more to share!  Have a "wonderfall" day!

Christmas card Sunday #43

Hello there!!  Sunday means time for another Christmas card!!  Now that Halloween is behind us and we have entered November all of the stores think it is ok to start displaying the Christmas goods!  There is Christmas stuff everywhere!  Seems like it gets a little bit earlier every year too! Oh well!  What can you do?! Join them I guess, so here is my card for this week:

Those pretty snowflakes are from the Festive Flurries stamp set and they are cut out using the Festive Flurries Framelits.  I stamped the sentiment and then used the Decorative Label punch to punch it out.  I punched once and then fed that punched piece back into the punch to get this cutsie shape!

Background is embossed using the Polka dot EF and the vanilla strip is embossed using the Stripes EF.  I popped the flakes up using Dimensionals and the centers are blinged up with Rhinestones!  Quick and easy festive card!

Ok, I am off to help hubby set windows in the addition today!  Can I get a big wahoooooo for that?!  Pretty excited about it!!  I will post some pictures once we get them in!  Our goal for today is to get three set!  Wish us luck!

Have a wonderful day!

Fall projects and a couple of cool cats!

Well hello there! Told you I would be back to share the Fall projects from my Stamp Club last night!  Did I mention that we had a great time?! :)  I just love those gals!  Ok, let's get straight to the good stuff!  We did four fun Fall (say that three times fast....I dare ya!) projects since Fall is quickly approaching.  Two are my original designs and the other two are borrowed from very talented stampers.  First though is the little goody I made for everyone:

Filled with yummmmmm!

Here is a simple Fall card.  It uses the Wood Grain EF and the Autumn Accents Big Shot die.

Gold shimmer paper and the Wonderfall stamp set.

Old Olive, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla card stock.

This is a fun little treat holder that would be a perfect party favor or treat for the Thanksgiving table.

It will hold little candies or a nice thankful for you note!

Pumpkin is made from the small Oval punch. (This is one of the borrowed ideas!)

I just love this sweet face!!! He is made using the Top Note Big Shot die!

Side view.  This would also hold a candy bar treat or Thanksgiving notes!

(This idea is borrowed also!)  He is floating around all over the Internet!

This one is all me!  I wanted some sort of plate decoration for everyone at Thanksgiving!  Thought this would be cute!

The little box is made from a 5.5 x 5.5 square box that we ran through the Wood Grain EF.  Leaves are all from Autumn Accents BS Die.

Pumpkin comes out!

This cute little guy is made from 8 scalloped circles.  Punched, sponged, folded and adhered together.

I love Fall!!!  The world is just such a bright and beautiful place when the leaves change and everything feels cool and crisp!  Our kitties love Fall too!  They have been all perky and playful!  They insisted on helping me take pictures again this morning so I thought I would share some of their photos!

This is Rooster!  You guys have met before.  She is shaped like a cat, named after a bird, but is actually a ham!  Just look at that face!

This is her sister Poopsie. (Don't ask!) LOL  She is a little camera shy, but is as cute as her sis.

Here they are together just hanging out! :)

I have one more picture to share today!  This one is my favorite. :)

These adorable little toes belong to the grand pumpkin!   On that happy note I am going to head off to tackle my To Do list!  Hope you have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Bow tie angel!

Hey there!  I had the best stamp club tonight!  We had a great time!  I just love visiting with my fun ladies! We snacked and giggled and made lots of Fall projects and this cute angel project:

She is made from the Bow Maker Big Shot Die.  Isn't she just adorable?

Here is a side view. She would also make a really cute Christmas ornament!  I do not know who designed her originally, but if it was you please let me know!  I would love to give you credit!

I will be back tomorrow to share all of the fun Fall projects we made with you!  Right now though I am headed to bed!  Loooong day! :)  Nightie night!
