Hey, chick!

Hello there!  *slides in all Tom Cruise/Risky Business like!* I have the cutest little card to show you today!!  It's such a simple little card, but the stamp makes me grin every time I look at it!!  I am having one of those got out of bed on the wrong side, anything that could go wrong has, is it actually a Monday kind of days!  I thought it would be a good idea to create something cute to perk me up, sooooo take a look at this guy:

I mean, come on?!  Just look at that hair?!  Is that not the cutest doo on a chicken that you've ever seen?!  How can you not help but grin looking at her?

I water colored her using an aqua painter and a Blushing Bride stamp pad.  I used a Pumpkin Pie marker to color in her beak and feetsies!  I added a bit of shadow beneath her using Smoky Slate and the aqua painter.  The hearts are from the Mini treat bag thinlit set.

The box is 2" x 2".   I started with a  6" x 6" piece of card stock and scored it at 2" and 4".  I turned it once and repeated that so my score lines looked like a tic tac toe board.  I cut in on all four score lines to the center square and adhered the sides together creating  a box!

View from the top!  Holds just enough chocolate goodness to make anyone smile!

Here are the products I used to make this card and box set!

Hope your day turns out to be more of a Wednesday than a Monday! *big grin!*  I will be back soonest with more to share!

Card, mini album, tag...oh my!

Well, hello there!  Got a minute?!  I have a fun little project to share with you today!  I had so much fun making this and oh my goodness...the mess I left behind doing it!!  LOL   I know it sounds silly, but I can often correlate how happy I am with a project by the size of the chaotic mess I've left behind!  Anyone else feel that way?   Ok, want to see this cute little guy?

It is a card/mini album/tag book!!  I couldn't decide, so you feel free to choose! :)

Lots of fun details on the cover!

This is what it looks like open.  It has three mini treat bags layered one on top of the other!

Each of the three bags has a pull out tag that can be be used to journal, add pictures to or both!  You could even add pictures to both sides! I scored a channel into the cover to accommodate the thickness of the bags.

I only secured them to one another along the bottom edge so they would flop open accordion style!

Here are the 3 tags outside of their bags.

Here they are together!

I thought this would make a cute Valentine's Day gift!  If you'd like to make one you can find all the of products I used here at my on line store!  Also, please feel free to zip me a quick email if you have any questions!

Product List

Guess I better go and address the mess I've made!  LOL  Have a great day!  I'll be back soonest with more to share!

Happy birthday wishes!

Hello there!  Wow-ee wow wow,  did that weekend ever fly by?!  It was Friday and I blinked and now here it is Monday already!!  Time is such a funny thing sometimes! Hope your weekend was a good one!

I have been playing in my stamp room this morning and am just love, loving the new stamps Stampin' Up! has come out with in their new Occasions catalog!  Also, because it is Sale-A-Bration (the most wonderful time of the SU! year!!)  I have been playing with lots of my free goodies too!

My card today uses a combination of catalog products and SAB (free, free and uh did I mention...free stuff!).  Want to see...?!

My card today is a little busier than I normally go for, but I was feeling a bit quirky and figured why not?! Live a little, be a wild woman, pile it on!  There is certainly a lot of visual interest here!  I stamped, I sponged, I die cut and I layered!  Go me!

The doily hiding under there was white when I started, but I shaded it Sweet Sugarplum by sponging it (Gently, they are delicate little things!).  The dragonfly is a double layer of cardstock and a glassine sheet.  I also glittered him up with my Wink of Stella pen. Sparkle for the win!!

It's kind of a hodge podge of random things, but I like the way it came together!

If you are curious about the items I used to create this little guy, you can find all of them in my online store.  Just click any of the pictures below and it will take you there!

Ok, I have a very full day ahead of me, but I wanted to stop by and visit!  Thank you for visiting with me!  You are one of my very favorite parts of my day!  Have a great one and I will be back soonest with more to share!
