Convention was AWESOME!!

Hello!  I am back from Convention!!  I had such a fantastic time!  I have lots of photos to share with you, but today am up to my eyeballs in busy!   My son is moving in tomorrow with his sweetie and my two grand-pups! So, we are in the process of packing up our room so they can move in to it and we will eventually be moving into the addition that we are in the process of building!  As you can well imagine, it is going to be utter chaos here for a while!  I will be back tomorrow to share lots of photos with you, but in the meantime here is a link to a fun Convention video for you!

Double embossing...say what?!!

Happy Monday to you!! I have lots and lots of Convention pictures to share with you, but will do that tomorrow, because today is ABC Challenge day!!  Today's challenge is to do double embossing on your card!!!  That means dry embossing and heat embossing or heat embossing and heat embossing or dry embossing and dry embossing or any other combo of embossing you feel like combining! LOL  I went with the heat and dry combo!  Here is my card:

The second layer is dry embossed using the Honeycomb EF and the bicycle is heat embossed using Melon Mambo embossing powder!

Th background is stamped with cute little bees from the Postage Collection hostess set!

Ink: Primrose Petals and Crumb Cake

Christmas card Sunday #29

Hiya!  It is Sunday and that means it is time for another Christmas card!  I am up to number #29 already!!  Wooo hoooo!  Bring on Christmas!!  LOL  Here is my card for this week:

Ok, time to pack!  We are heading home today!  I am so sad that Convention is over, but I am one whooped puppy!  I had a fabulous time, but I am really missing my family and will be happy to get back to them!

The rest of my swaps!!

Helloooooooo!   How are you today?!  I wanted to stop by and share the rest of the swaps that I made with you!  These are just all purpose, swap em on the floor (or in a restaurant, or in the airport, or the bathroom etc!!) LOL swaps!  I made between 24-30 of each of these!

 Aren't these fun?!  I have been swapping my little heart out!  I have gotten some real beauties in return!! I love swapping!!  You get to meet so many wonderful new folks and get so many new ideas!!  

We are having an amazing time!  I cannot wait to get home and share all of the pictures I have been taking with you!  Off to play some more!

More fun swaps!!

Hi there!!  We are having so much fun here in Utah!!  There is so much going on!!  I have two swap cards that I want to share with you today!!  I signed up for a Technique swap and a SUDSOL swap!  Here are my technique cards:

I  signed up for two spots in this swap!  I had to make 21  6x6 cards for each spot.  This was my first one.  It is called the Gingham Technique.  You use the Stripes EF and an ink pad to make this!

Here is my second technique.  I made 21 of this one too!  You use a straw and re-inker to get this effect!   These were really fun!!

The next card is for a SUDSOL swap.  SUDSOL is an amazing demo group that I belong to and the swaps are always AWESOMEEEE!  I cannot wait to swap in this one!!  Here is my card:

This simple card took me over a week to make!  There are a lot of steps to it!  Faux stitching, embossing, stamping, layering, cutting, Dazzling Diamond-ing (LOL), punching and then assembling!  I made 48 of these!

Ronald McDonald Swap!!!

Well hello there!  Hope you are doing well!  Sure wish you were here with me at Convention!! :)  I have another swap to share with you today!  I signed up for a Ronald McDonald House swap.  Each year  Stampin'Up! designates and sells a set for the Ronald McDonald House charity.  A portion of each stamp set sold goes to the house.  It is a wonderful charity.  I can say from personal experience that this sort of program is very special and unbelievably important.  When I saw someone was hosting a Ronald McDonald card front swap I jumped at the chance to be in it!  I signed up for two spots!  Here is the set:

Mini album swap!!

      Hi there!! I am writing from sunny, beautiful Utah!!!!!!   I am going to share the swaps that I made to take to Convention with you over the next few days!  The first one is from a mini album swap I am in.  I made 20 mini albums!!  Ten for each of the two spots I signed up for!  Here is the first one:

I used the Oval Framelits to make a mini book!

I had so much fun making these!  I just love mini albums!  Cannot wait to see what treasures I will get in the swap!!

Awesome demo meeting project!!

Hey there!!  I am so excited to be sharing today's project with you!!  I meet monthly with several Stampin' Up! demos and we always have a great time!  We eat and visit and discuss business and do Make n' Takes and have demonstrations and eat...the food is always amazing!!!  It is a  great group of ladies!  Yesterday we all worked together on a project that I am just head over heels over!  We were each randomly given a set of tags  and were supposed to transform them into identical tags  that were a reflection of ourselves.  They could include our favorite color, or stamp or whatever we could come up with to give clues to our personalities!  Everyone did such an amazing job with their tags!!  We assembled all of the tags into a beautiful keepsake to display in our craft areas!  I just LOVE the way they turned out!  Here is my mine:

It has lots of my favorite things!  I love owls and pink and bling and that To Do list makes total sense to me!  I am a tea drinker and love daisies and pretty little pink flowers!!  I faux stitched and background stamped and blinged it all up!!

This was such a great project and I will sincerely treasure it!  It has little snippets of some really wonderful friends! I LOVE it!! :)

More fun techniques!

Hi there!  I had such a fun technique class last night!!  I have such a great group of wonderful girls that get together a  couple of times a month to stamp and last night we played with some techniques! I had a great time!  First thing we did was to make a box to hold all of our technique cards in:

Next thing we did was to learn the different techniques and make a sample of each:
