Halloween treats!

Helloooooo!  How are ya?  Quick post today!  We are going to a Halloween themed dinner tonight and I thought I would dress up our food a bit.  Food always tastes so much better when it is cute!  I pulled out a couple of my Halloween stamp sets and made a few things to add to our food dishes.  Take a look:

I stamped, punched and added some color to these cute little guys!  I hot glued them onto straw segments and will tuck them into a dessert (Cemetery cheesecake!) to spooky it up a bit!

This will get tucked into some monster meatloaf!

Here they are together just waiting to dress up some dinner and dessert treats!

Here they are tucked into their destinations:

Cemetery cheesecake

Monster Meatloaf w/mashed potato filling and red pepper teeth! LOL  Halloween is so much fun!

These are the supplies I used to make these little Halloween cuties:

Ok, I need to run and get this food delivered to its destination!  Hope that you are having a great weekend!  I'll be back soonest with more to share!

Paper Pumpkin fun!

Hello there!  Is it raining on you?  It's been gray and rainy all day here.  I woke up thinking it would be the perfect day to spend some quality time in my stamp room, but discovered this morning that our roof sprung a leak over night and guess where it decided to leak? Yep, it was raining *in* my stamp room this morning!  Ugh!!  What a mess!!  It damaged several projects I was working on and ruined a big box of paper. Definitely could have been worse and given what so many people are dealing with right now due to Hurricane Matthew I shrugged it off as no big deal.

My crafty time has been limited today, but I wanted to create a little something!  I figured the perfect thing would be a Paper Pumpkin project!  I grabbed my most recent kit and threw together a quickie little project!  If you do not get Paper Pumpkin you are really missing out!!  The monthly kits just keep getting better and better!  September's kit was simply awesome!!  It came with all the test tubes, labels, stickers, twine, glue dots, a stamp set and an ink spot that you need to create a ton of little test tube cuties!

Here is the one I put together today:

Super quick, super cute!  I filled this one with jelly bean candy!

Please pardon my stinky lighting!  Did I mention...lots of rain and gray skies here today!

Stampin' Up! is offereing a buy one get one offer until October 10th!  If you buy one kit you get the following month's kit for free!!  Fun!!

Happy Friday and happy stamping! :)  I'll be back soonest with more to share!

Be still my happy, halloween-y haunted heart!!

Hey there!  I might have mentioned recently that I have had Halloween on the brain, so I made the cutest, tiniest little haunted house this morning!  Have you seen the new Stampin' Up! Home Sweet Home thinlets dies?!  OMGoodness!!! I am in love with these cute little things!  I had so much fun playing with them!  Take a look at my tiny, spooky, little haunted house:

Is that not the cutest thing?!!  It only stands about 3 3/4" tall!  It was so much fun to put together!  There is even a tiny little ghostie to greet you at the door!

View from the top!  Each row of shingles is cut and added separately.  I crunched them up a bit and added some grungy looking sponging to dirty things up a little.

Side view.  I added Vellum to the the windows and sponged them with Pumpkin Pie to give the inside an eerie glow!

This is the back side.  I added the window on crooked to give the appearance that the house might need a bit of repair!

Other side.  I made little shutters and sponged everything randomly for some booooo factor!

Door opens so I can add a little tea light candle (battery operated!) or tuck in a few little chocolate treats!

I stamped a spider and his spider web, added a bat and set out a pumpkin because hey ghosts like to decorate for the holiday too! :)

This adorable thinlets die set will make all sorts of fun houses.  I am excited to try some other holiday ones next!

Here are the supplies I used to make this little haunted guy:

You definitely need to add this little cutie to your collection!  Feel free to click on over to my store and shop away!

Hope that you are having a good day!  Mine is full of busy, so I am off to get some more things done!  I will be back soonest though with more to share!

For you, sweet sugarplum!

Hello, hello!  I got a few new fun goodies in the mail this morning, so I made a card to share with you!  I have to admit that I struggled with this card.  I knew exactly what I wanted it to look like and it wound up looking nothing like that! LOL  It's the color!  I used Sweet Sugar plum and although it is an absolutely gorgeous color I had a really hard time working with it!  Are you like that with any particular color?  I tried several things, tweaked several things and tossed several things into the circular file never to be seen again!  After a while I finally managed to pull something together that  was pleased with!   Here is the little guy:

This card has lots of shimmer to it!  The ribbon is beautiful.  It is a silver, glittery ribbon that gives off sparkle when you rotate the card!  The sequins are silver and sweet sugar plum and I colored in the flower with Wink of Stella!

The fun thing about this card is that I created the background!!  I used the new stencil masks from the holiday cattie to make those fun polka dots!!  I sponged them onto a piece of  Very Vanilla using Sweet sugar plum and a stamping sponge! Fun stuff, I tell ya!!

I also used the new circle layering framelits.  So many awesome possibilities for those!!  I cannot wait to play more with them!

Here is the list of supplies I used today:

Click away if you see anything you simply must have and it will take you straight to my online store where you can order it!

Ok, I have an enormous TO DO list today so I am off!  I hope you have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
