Survived the hurricane post!

Hello!  Well, we made it through our first beach hurricane...woohoo!  We returned to the area to find minimal damage and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for that!  I am glad that it is over and am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for no more surprise visits from any windy house guests!  Be gone hurricanes (and tornadoes and earthquakes!) LOL  Today it is absolutely gorgeous out!!  There is the tiniest hint of Fall in the air and the sun is shining bright!  LOVE it!

I have a couple of things to share with you today.    One of the things that I love most about stamping is sharing!  I have learned over the years that I have been a stamper that most stampers are very kind and generous.  It is not at all uncommon for folks to request their stamping buddies to help card flood people when they need it.  I have a friend (Hiya Jackie!) who has a friend that lost a loved one recently.  Jackie is asking for cards for her friend so I sat down today and made one. Here is the card I made for Jackie's friend:

Stamps: Watercolor Trio (Retired) and Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper: Lucky Limeade, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Garden Green and Very Vanilla

Ink: Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder and Chocolate Chip

Extras: Chocolate Chip ribbon, Pop dots and glue dots

Something else that I wanted to share with you were some of our beach finds after the hurricane.  My daughter loves all things ocean and was thrilled to find and collect these treasures!  I loved all the shells, but the sea stars and sea urchins made me really sad.  There were hundreds of them washed up on the shore. :(  Here are some of our finds:

We also found several sharks teeth and hubby found one as big as a quarter! :)
