Thank you gift!

Hello!  Happy Labor Day!!  Hope that you had a wonderful holiday weekend! :)  Today I have an oldie, but a good-ie to share with you.  We attended our first block party in our new neighborhood yesterday and I wanted to take a little thank you hostess gift over to our neighbor.  They put a lot of work into the party and have been really nice neighbors.  I just needed a quickie little something to hold some chocolate and so I made up one of these fun basket boxes:

These are super simple to make and are so cute all assembled!

Another angle.

I used the new stamp set Gently Falling (I am in love!) for these leaves.

I started with a 7.5" x 7.5" piece of card stock.  I scored it at 2.5", and 5" and then flipped it sideways and scored it again at 2.5" and 5" (like a tic tac toe board!).  Then I turned it on the diagonal and scored the four corners only from the outside points to the center square outside corner so that each of the four outside corners is divided in half diagonally by a score line.  Then I folded each of the score lines, pulled in the points and punched holes in each of the points with my Crop-O-Dile.  I tied the them together with a ribbon, decorated my sides with Spice Cake DSP (which is absolutely gorgeous!!) and filled it up  with the good stuff!  Easy peasy! :)

Recipe:
Stamps: Gently Falling  and Tiny Tags
Paper: More Mustard, Marina Mist, Very Vanilla and Spice Cake DSP
Ink: Crumb Cake, Tempting Turquoise and Chocolate Chip
Extras: Chocolate Chip Ribbon

Enjoy the rest of this wonderful long weekend!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
