Take Note!

Hello! :)  How are you today?!  We finally have a little bit of sunshine peeking through!  We have had days and days of rain!  Don't get me wrong...I LOVE rainy days!  I mean really love them, but seeing the sun shinning bright this morning made me pretty dang happy! :)

I was finally able to take a picture of this fun little project I threw together over the weekend!  I say threw because it went together zippetty quick!!  I had a spare dvd case and so I dressed it up just a little by adding some pretty flower-y paper and into my purse it went!!  I am a serious list maker, paper junkie, gotta write it all down kind of girl, so having a pretty place for all my notes is a must!!  What do you think?

The paper is from Stampin Up! and is called Floral District.  Such bright fun colors!!

It holds this paper pad perfectly!

I added a strip of matching paper on the top of the paper pad.  The backside of the paper is as bright and pretty as the front!  Love double sided paper!!

I added a punched blossom flower and a little sprig of leaves and topped the whole thing off with my initial!

The flower is punched from Rich Razzleberry and the center is from Daffodil Delight.   The dvd case will keep my paper safe and crumple free.  Now I am ready to write every little thing down! :)

I hope that the sun is shinning on you and that you are having a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

  1. It's cloudy and humid here with a chance of storms. It's been like this for 4 days! This is a great project!!! I'm going to be on the lookout for DVD cases now!

  2. Sorry about the rainy day, could use a little down here. I think it's been dry for about 4-5 days and I guess I'll have to water tomorrow.

Love your DVD case project. Pretty paper and your note pad is add dressed up too. Fabulous. I need to get my hands on some of those cases too!
