Can you tell me how to get...how to get to Sesame Street?!

Hellooooooo!!!   Long time no post!  So sorry to have gone MIA!  My laptop has been under the weather with the flu, but my very sweet and wonderful IT guy  (thanks hubby!!) has managed to nurse it back to health!  It is crazy how dependent we become on our technology, isn't it?!  I was going nutty without my laptop!!

Ok, so on to business!  Any Sesame Street fans out there?!!  I happen to be head over heels crazy about that show!  I just love all those Muppet guys and the funny educational segments they used to do!  My absolute favorite of all of the characters though is Grover the lovable furry blue monster!  It does not get much cuter than that! I have a soft spot in my heart for that fuzzy little guy!  Anyhow, I am rambling on with a purpose!  My project today happens to be Sesame Street related!  We attended a birthday party recently  and birthday person was turning one!  We bought a giant Sesame Street bag to house her gifts and so  I wanted to make a tag to match the bag.  Take a look:

If you are a true SS fan you will recognize them as Cookie Monster, Elmo and Oscar the Grouch! I used punches to whip them up.  These guys have been floating around all over the internet for a while so I do not know who came up with them originally.  Aren't they cute?

Cookie Monster with a cookie, of course!

Elmo

Oscar the Grouch

I really wanted to make Grover and Big Bird too, but since the tag could only be so long and since these were the three on the gift bag they made it to the tag! LOL

If you have any interest at all here is a link to Wikipedia's page on Sesame  Street:

Fun stuff!

Hope that you are having a great day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
