I like to make little treats for my class attendees so I thought I would do the same for the kids last night! I made each of them a little truck!
I tucked a stamp, a stamping spot (mini ink pad) and a mini candy bar inside each one!
Here are the goodies before I assembled them.
Traffic jam!
Here are all of the trucks together!
These were really easy to make!
To make Cab:
I cut a piece of card stock 2" x 4 1/2" and scored it at 1/2" on the 4 1/2" side. Then I turned it and scored it at 1/2", 1 1/2", 3" and 4". I cut the small tabs below the 1/2" up to the score line so that when I folded it in I could glue them in place to create the box/cab shape. I cut and sponged small pieces of scrap to make the front window and two side window. I drew lines across the front to resemble the grill.
Truck bed:
I cut out a 5" x 5" square and scored it a 1 1/2", turned it and repeated at 1 1/2" and so on until all four sides were scored at 1 1/2". I cut two of the score lines on each side and folded all of the pieces in to make a box shape.
Wheels:
I punched out six 3/4" circles in Basic Black and layered the small circle in Whisper White from the 3 punch pack on top!
These little guys could hold all sorts of things!
Then the kids made these projects:
Saw this cute idea on Pinterest!
This adorable lion was originally created by the amazing Jackie Topa!! She is a paper genius!!
We added him to a box front and added a tail!
We made these using the Petal Cone die!
We had a great class! Hope those little guys and gals had as much fun as I did! :)
Have a wonderful day! I will be back soonest with more to share!
Sounds like a fun class. I bet they loved those gorgeous projects and their cute little present too.
