Hey there! Can you feel the love in the air?! Valentine's Day is just around the corner (Well ok, it is a whole month away, but you can never have too much love in your life, right?!) so I thought I would make a project filled with love! I was inspired by a similar version that I saw on line, but tweaked it and changed it up a bit! This is my version of this fun love banner:
It is a table top, love filled, arrow banner! LOL We did this at our most recent demo meeting! I had so much fun putting it together!
The "L" uses the Bracket Label punch, 1 1/4" Circle punch, Morning Post Alphabet set, heart from Perfect Pennants and a tiny little pearl accent! The heart is popped up on a dimensional.
The "O" uses the Petite Petals punch and coordinating stamp set (You can buy them in a bundle here and save 15%!). Also, the above mentioned punches for the letter and rhinestones to fancy up those sweet flowers even more!
The "V" uses the above mentioned punches and stamps. The banner is made from two mini banner punches that you can get FREE during the upcoming Sale-A-Bration period. I promise to share lots of info about that soon! The tiny sparkly heart is punched form the Owl Builder punch and punched from Silver Glimmer paper.
The "E" uses the above mentioned stamps and punches and the banner from the Perfect Pennants set. Heart is from the Owl Builder punch.
The tags are shaped using the envelope punch board. I stamped the background with the En Francais
background stamp and sponged all of the edges with Real Red ink. I punched holes on the top using my Crop-o-dile and added Very Vanilla Seam Binding tied with some jute twine. I like the contrast that it added. The arrow is a 1" x 11" strip scored at 3". 5.5" and 8". I cut one end arrow shaped and the other banner shaped to mimic a real arrow. Fun stuff!! Here it is one more time:
I hope that you have a great day! I will be back soonest!
This is so sweet! I'm gonna have to try my hand at one of these! Thanks for sharing :) HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your love banner! The tags are gorgeous and the arrow is such a great way to connect them!
