Well, hello there?! Remember me?! LOL Did you miss me? After blogging every day last year I decided to take a little bit of time off to recharge. I believe I am feeling in a bit of a slump. I think I may have a touch of creator's block. My stamp room in still in a state of utter chaos. (If you are new to my blog allow me to briefly explain...we are doing some addition building onto our home and in the process of 2 x 4's flying wildly and hammers swinging we have moved a lot of things into my stamp room leaving only a tiny little pathway to get to the attached laundry room.) Phew! Did you read all of that in one breath because that is how I typed it?! *Big grin!* I know that once I get in there and do some organizing and cleaning my block will just melt away, but it just feels too chaotic in there right now to get all creatively jiggy with it! LOL I have been dabbling in a few things here and there, but haven't really tackled anything too big. I am working on kind of a neat year long project that I would like to eventually share with you. Right now though if you are a regular here you may notice things are looking a bit different! I am in the process of changing things up. I thought a fresh new look would be a fun way to start the new year. I have run into some snag-i-poos (polite substitution for the slur of curse words that I have actually been muttering during this face lift process!) though and it is taking a bit longer than I had hoped. So, right now I am:
I have attached my new banner! I designed it in My Digital Studio. Hot air balloons hold kind of a personal meaning for me. I thought looking at these on a daily basis would gently remind me to keep looking up, to not take life so seriously and to try to enjoy the little things! (All that from a couple of over inflated balloons...not too bad, eh?!) :) Hopefully they will remain part of my final design, but who knows! You could come back tomorrow and they whole blog could be a zany shade of orange and chartreuse with giant walruses plastered all over the place!! LOL
I do promise to start crafting and blogging again VERY soon, but in the meantime I do ask that you bear with me!
I hope to do some new things on my blog this year! I would really like to do some more scrap booking and make some mini albums! I want to do some inspired by types of projects and am in the process of working out some design team commitments!
Much love! I will be back very soonest crafty friends!
Oh, I SO want to see the giant walruses (walri?)!!! Hope all is going well with the drywall and you will very soon be back in your crafting haven!
ReplyDeleteHope you're making great progress on mudding up that room addition. Can't wait to see how your blog turns out and what you have up your sleeves for 2014! Blessings for a great New Year.
