I started with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of card stock and scored it at 5 1/2" and folded it in half. I used the Floral Framelits to cut out the flower shape. I used the second to largest one and placed it on the folded card stock so that a little bit of it fell off the end. This way when I ran it through the Big Shot it cut the flower out of both pieces, but left it hinged at the top!
I scored the top flower at the halfway point and folded it in half. I cut another single flower and adhered it on the bottom only to the bottom half of the folded flower. See above!
That fold is what creates the easel. You can lay it flat or open it and prop it against something on the bottom layer. I ran the single flower through the polka dot EF before I adhered it to the card.
Here is the bottom layer with the sentiment acting as the 'doorstop'!
I added some goodies on the front and sponged the outside of both flower pieces to soften the look a little bit. The heart on the front matched the butterfly on the inside. I also stamped the flower center and the inside background with stamps from Spiral Spins. (Cute, cute, cute set!! Reminds me off the Spiralgraph toy I had as a kidlet!)
