Lil' bit of old and lil' bit of new!

Hello and happy Tuesday to you!  Hope you are doing well today!  I sat down this morning to make a birthday card for my grandma (who will be turning 97 in just a few days!!!) and was torn between using some of the wonderful goodies that are in our current catalog or some of the wonderful  fun new goodies.  So, I compromised!  The card I made for her has a little of both.  I wanted to keep it simple, but still make it bright and cheerful.  She really likes flowers so that was my go to starting place.  Here is the card that I made for my sweet, sweet gma!

The stems, the sentiment and some of the punched flowers are all new sneaky-peeks for you!!  The butterflies, the remaining flower, the rhinestones and all of the colors are all sticking around, but are from the current catalog.

My grandma is simply amazing!  She is the spunkiest little thing!!  I sure hope she likes it!

I have had several folks email and ask about some things so I thought I would offer a brief update!  Our quick trip down to visit our daughter last week was successful.----> She found a wedding dress and it is just beautiful!  We are still plugging along on our house addition, although things have slowed down considerably.  It is going to take a while to get everything all done! We are 'dried in and under roof' though!  One project at a time! :)  Our grand pumpkin is nothing short of amazing!  She is starting to make words of her sounds (so far we have heard ma-ma and uh-oh!) and crawling is going to be happening any time now!  Still no teeth though! LOL  I do appreciate your asking! :)

Here is a recent shot of her:
Can I get a giant awwwwwwwwww??!!
She had her beach hat on and turned backwards. :)   Her toes never actually touched the sand while we were there, but she did get to go to the aquarium and meet the fish and sharks!

Ok, well my day has lots of To Do's left in it, but I wanted to be sure to stop by and visit with you!  I will be back soonest with more to share! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
