Oh happy day!

Hello there!  OMGoodness!!  OMGoodness!!  OMGoodness!!  Have you heard the exciting new news that Stampin' Up! is partnering with Becky Higgins and her really cool Project Life system?!  *thud!  falls over!* I am so excited about this I might possible bust!!  In case you haven't heard, Project Life is sort of a hybrid type of scrap booking.  It is a way to document your life without a lot of the fuss of traditional scrap booking.  It is quick and easy, but still has the potential to be cute and fun and full of your own personality. I cannot wait to get started with it all!  I ordered some of it and did a little playing around with a couple of the stamp sets today.

The cool thing about the Project Life goodies is that you can use them for other projects besides scrapping!  I made this card using a couple of the stamp sets created for the Project Life system.

I wanted to keep the card light and happy so I stamped the days of the week from the Day to Day stamp set in different colors and then added the cute arrows from the Point and Click set.

I made the focal point sunshine by stamping an image from Starburst Sayings and then cut it out with the circle framelits.  The sun rays are made from the Banner punch and I doodled happy little dots on them.

I will be sure to share some of my Project Life pages with you once I get them together!  I am really looking forward to doing some scrap booking and documenting this way!

I got a big ole' box of new Stampin Up! goodies in the mail yesterday so I am off to play with my new toys!

I hope that you are having a nice weekend!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
