Let's be friends forever!

Hello there!  Happy weekend to you.  Got any fun plans today?  I have a full schedule, but wanted to stop by to visit and share a card with you before I got my day rolling.  It's all about friendship.  I have to be the luckiest person ever, because I have some of the most wonderful friends! Your friends are those that you hold near and dear to your heart, the people that really know you and get you and love you anyhow. :)  I am very grateful to all of my sweet, wonderful friends that have stood by me through thick and thin, that have spent hours on endless coffee and lunch dates with me, that have listened when I needed a shoulder and that have helped to make my life richer.  Big group hug to all my wonderful peeps!  On to the card:

So many fun things going on here. There's stamping, embossing, punching, die cutting, inky techniques...oh my!

Lots of different layers makes for interesting visual fun.  Your eyes just want to dance all over seeing all the different elements. The sentiment is a stamped image and the flower is a die cut from the Eclectic Layers Thinlits.  I cut it twice to make it two colors. I used gold faceted gems, a gold circle punch and the gold paper from Bundle of Love DSP for a nice cohesive feel.

To make the background here I dipped my plain block into the new Powder Pink (love, love, love it) stamp pad and stamped it directly onto the paper.  It leaves a nice bubbly looking background and will be different every time you do it.  Its a simple technique, but one of my very favorites. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Here are all the products I used to make this card:

Clicking any of those pictures will take you straight to my on line store if you see anything you'd like to add to your collection.  Feel free to zip me an email or leave me a comment with any questions you may have.

Ok, I better get busy before the day gets away from me.  Thank you for the nice visit.  I'll be back soonest with more ton share.
