Twisted Tuesday Time!

Tuesday once again!!  Today's Twisted Tuesday challenge is to make a Vintage card and the twist is to use stripes somewhere on your card! Once again, another great challenge by our twist-y coordinator, Melina!   Here is my Tuesday challenge card:

I think this is one of the coolest stamp sets that Stampin Up! has ever come out with!  Sadly, this set is retired.  I just love it though!  It stamps so clean and plus...cool chairs! LOL

To make my stripes I inked up my EF with Soft suede...just ran my ink pad right over it!  I must admit that I held my breath when I did it, but it washed perfectly clean and ink free when I was done so I will use that technique again! :)

Really cool images! I used Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake hoping for a vintage-y type feel.  I kept the card simple without loading too much on it.

Ok, your turn!  Head on over to Twisted Tuesdays and link up your stripe-y vintage creation!  I look forward to seeing what you come up with.  Be sure to check out the wonderful cards made by the other DT members too!

  8. Wonderful card! I love the design of the chairs and with all three sitting empty, it really conveys an "I miss you" feeling. Your stripes look wonderfully rustic!
